- CRUZiiiEApril 9, 2013The veggie dog was pretty incredible, great presentation too. Had no problem w/service or wait and checking in got me a free soft serve icecream! Today's flavor: chocolate almond (tastes like Nutella)
- Glenn CallwoodJuly 18, 2012You have to try the Merguez Haute Dog...so delicious...especially if you like lamb. And the the Cubanita is da bomb ;-)
- Chicken wings are a "must try". Unlike any we've had before. The dogs are an adventure in flavor - had the pastrami and Merquez/lamb. Both unique and great.
- Jessica SchmidtOctober 6, 2011The "Lobster-Dog" was delicious! The waffle fries were great, but I think I'll get the maple sauce on the side next time. Parking is a bit of a pain.. but it IS Atlanta, so you just deal with it.
- babs oMay 29, 2012garden chili dog, veggie reuben dog, chi-town carrot dog and the merguez were all delish! if u get the hd waffle fries, get the sauce on the side.
- XiJune 10, 2012Had the chi-town dog. Really good. Also had the Little Italian, I thought it was alright but the gf thought it was amazing. She also had the pork in blanket that I thought was fairly decent.
- Danielle San FilippoApril 15, 2013The Ruben and the eastbound and down are amazing (even on the gluten free buns). Try the bees knees or bluegrass sunset to drink.
- Katie PelkeyApril 22, 2012Veggie dog was great (the melted cheese and shoestring fries on top helped too). ! Loved the peanut butter soft serve with cinnamon crunch.
- Creative Loafing AtlantaSeptember 27, 2011Prawn dogs, pastrami dogs, and pork-fennel sausage are all unusual and delicious. The only thing we'd recommend against are the deviled eggs.
- Polly NanceMarch 20, 2013Waffle fries HD style are the bomb!!! But get the sauce on the side if you aren't so saucy of a person and dislike sticky fingers :)
- Fantastic veggie options!!! We're addicted to the veg corn dogs, but for an amazing change of pace, try the carrot dog! Yum!
- Jen McKinnonMarch 26, 2013The wiz is excellent. Best boiled peanuts too. Sat night primetime expect a wait, your patience will pay off though.
- The Culinary Institute of AmericaDecember 21, 2012CIA Alumnus Richard Blais shares his unique cuisine at this far-from-ordinary hot dog stand! Check out this short video of Chef Blais: Read more
- Polly NanceMarch 20, 2013I love sitting at the bar as opposed to paying first and then sitting at a table. The Italian is my fav!!!
- Maggie HarringtonJune 18, 2012The Red Haute & the South of Chi-town are so delicious! Definitely recommend either of them! Yummy!!!!!
- Abby KirkMarch 20, 2012The garden chili (veggie dog & veggie chili) was spicy and delicious! This place is more my speed than Flip Burger.
- SoniaJanuary 21, 2012Blais's restaurants never seem to do vegetarian right. Skip the veg chili and don't expect sous vide carrot unless you come "when it's busy." Faves at our table: spiced boiled peanuts, eastbound dog.
- Kristen CincottaFebruary 19, 2012If you order at the register, ask to leave your order open so you can add extra drinks if your wait gets long!
- Sarah AlbertOctober 13, 2011Chicken apple sausage dog, win. Fries were delish too, I could bathe in the maple-oy!!
- savoryexposure.comOctober 1, 2011The beef pastrami dog is my fave!
http://www.savoryexposure.com/2011/09/hd1-by-richard-blais/ - Try the Waffle Frys with Zmaple Oy because if you don't you'll be sad and there will be a whole in your heart.
- Nicole KMarch 22, 2012garden chili frank with walnut mayo and veggie chili is an awesome veggie-friendly dog
- Patrick LesterMarch 15, 2012Food is interesting (and quite tastey), but later you'll realize you just dropped all that money on a hot dog, waffle fries and a can of beer.
- DeneneJuly 8, 2012Though it's listed as a Concentric restaurant online, HD1 refused our gift card, which meant we had to pay $70+ cash for hot dogs, waffle fries and soda. O_o Won't happen again.
- savoryexposure.comOctober 1, 2011Try their unique take on shrimp & grits... on a stick
http://www.savoryexposure.com/2011/09/hd1-by-richard-blais/ - Fadia KaderFebruary 13, 2012The Pastrami Dog was decent. The beet salads dressing was a bit odd - a purée of goat cheese - not sure - overall B-
- Whole pig poutine is the best plate of fries in the city!
- C. G.February 18, 2012Tasty variety of dogs. But waiting 45 minutes just for 2 hot dogs & an order of fries. I don't think so....

- Video_BeanOctober 16, 2011Pabst Blue Ribbon brewed in GA since 1971, let's get this classic beer in here!! ASK FOR PBR!!
- You may THINK it tastes strange but the Pastrami dog is clearly the best thing on the menu
- James HsiaoOctober 1, 2011One order of waffle fries is probably good for two people, unless you're a pig.
