Smokkee SingletonOctober 9, 2013One of my favorite restaurants on the near north side of Chicago. You're here for the gumbo probably but you need to try the sausage Po'boy (with shrimp too if you're like me) or the Cajun crab cakes.

Becky McConnellJune 16, 2010Any Heaven on Seven location is amazing. They have great food, the portions are generous, to say the least and it's a very comfortable atmosphere. I would recommend the Corn Blasters (appetizer).
If you see someone order salad instead of gumbo, then punch them in the face. Better yet, if you see someone order the gumbo, then punch them in the face and steal their gumbo.

Just say "Jimmy Feed Me!" best deal in the city. Seven couses for about $35.00. The gumbo and turtle soup (don't forget the sherry) are second to none!
The Hurricane here is great! Not EXACTLY like at Pat O'Brien's, but a great substitute.
The Jambalaya is so good.. paired with a cup of gumbo, you'll definitely be full!!!
