Fantastic choice of beers, incl the famous Palm, Duvel, Hoegaarden, Leffe, La Chouffe, Westmalle Tripel and many, many more. Really good prices as well!
Bart is a very welcoming owner and beer afficionado. Stellar selection (probably largest in Berlin) of Belgian beers. Good talks too.

Jana A. KriSeptember 3, 2023The bar is very tripple-, dubbel- and football friendly. Fun chats with the owner guaranteed, and the selection is very solid. 4 numbers on tap, and their house brew is something to not overlook.
- This is my regular place in Berlin, the people are very diverse (ossies, expats, tourists) and very open for conversation. Love how Bart created a place for strangers to meet.

Bart, the owner of the bar, is a great person to chat with. Apparently he named the place after his late German teacher from school back home in Belgium. Herman's portrait is on the menu cover.
