Hiltl buffet is open also in the afternoon! Great for a snake ang got very good table at 16:45, window seat :-) Love Hiltl and Samses, my preferred Vegetarian and Vegan restaurants in Zurich!

Buffet dishes are priced based on their weight (a full plate of papaya, ananas, rocket, carrots, pasta, beans, brown rice including bread ~22 CHF); Outdoor and indoor seats; An absolute legend!
The "buffet" is not really a buffet - you pay by weight. Certainly more affordable than most places (being vegetarian & eating at the bar area helps, for sure). PS: the pappadum is free.
Lots of Asian dishes! The food isn't mind-blowing but the concept and history of the restaurant is nice. Price is pretty good for Zurich standards too. This is what 100g/15 CHF might look like. :)
Amazing vegan and vegetarian food. Half of the food is Indian theme. Loved the Chana Masala, curry, and veganberrytiramisu. You can't miss this place. Come after 13:30 to beat crowds.
The food and the choice are great! Hiltl is featured in easyJet inflight magazine and was my obvious choice - I really wanted to try the first vegetarian restaurant in the world. It was worth it.
A great place for meat eaters and vegetarians in my opinion. Delicious food with fresh ingredients in the buffet. I had an nice brunch there and also took some food home, definitely recommended
I like the idea and they have some interesting dishes but as someone who goes to vegan/vegetarian restaurants in pursuit of healthy food I was a bit disappointed.Tons of salt and sugar in everything!
The vegetarian buffet has made this place famous, the quality is good and Eden if you're into meat like me you'll definitely enjoy it, just make sure to get a reservation for WE nights
Really great buffet available for vegetarian and vegan food lovers. Has something for everyone and price depends on weight of food. Highly recommend this for vegetarian and vegans.
This place is amazing. I am not a vegetarian, but with food like this, I don't need meat. Try their "hackbraten", " tandoorischnitzel", "quinoa burger", " tartar" or anything else from the buffet.

I loved this place! The service was excellent, especially our host (Katherine). The food was really delicious, as the assortment was really big! I'd turn vegetarian forreal.
Awesome vegetarian food. Lots of little bites as well. It can get quite expensive quickly, so think when making your plate. The ice teas are also very good!
Place for meat eaters as well as one doesn't notice meat is missing.Great buffet but also excellent a la carte.Perfect place for brunch if one is not in a hurry (service can be somehow slow when busy)
Delicious buffet, even though I'm not vegetarian I still had an amazing meal. Just head up, grab a plate, and then get it weighed at the bar when you're ready.
The food here is delicious & varied (not just by Swiss standards); there's Indian, Mediterranean, generic Western & miscellaneous cuisines represented.
Very nice vegetarian selection (and only vegetarian) and good drinks. The place is also beautiful but... it's really expensive. Not sure if it's not to much for the value.
Never thought I'd say it but this is a superb Vegetarian restaurant. Help yourself to freshly prepared food from the buffet. I hate buffets but again this is really good, fresh tasting. Pay by weight.
