- Martín CaballeroJanuary 30, 2018Comfy, clean and with excellent service. Stayed for 3 nights in January on a business trip. Area can bit noisy at night on occasion but everything inside the hotel was on point
- Our second time staying at this wonderful hotel, and I can’t compliment them enough! The staff and accommodations are all amazing. They are SUPER dog friendly and even have a dog run on the roof!
- Alexander ShuiskoffSeptember 12, 2017Exceptional service, attention to details. breakfasts, dinners, cocktails. This is the best hotel I've stayed so far (20-something countries, 200-something cities). LOVE!
- This hotel went above and beyond for us and our dog. The friendliest staff and most inviting accommodations we have ever experienced. 5 stars all around! Their food is also delicious.
- Stewart MarshallMay 2, 2013Great hotel, spacious rooms, good service, friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommended. Quite a high price - but all the hotels in San Francisco are pricey - so this one is comparatively good value.
- One of my favourite hotels; top notch friendly service, light airy rooms and beds that makes you want to stay another hour every morning. The gym/pool/sauna section is a nice place to unwind, too.
- Ellen McGrodyNovember 10, 2015I've never stayed at the Nikko, but my office has meetings here pretty frequently. Their in-house catering is good and it's a lovely and clean event venue with good sound and visual facilities.
- MatheyMay 4, 2019Be prepared for extras: decent WiFi, pool access, bikes, drinking water. Also, the noisy ventilation runs all night. I would recommend a less business-centric stay on Nob Hill for all that & more.
- Occasionally well priced business hotel that's showing its age. High quality bedding makes up for it a bit.
- This hotel has it all...friendly + welcoming staff exhibit the best of Japanese hospitality. Top notch linens, nice gym, shiatsu massage. Starbucks right downstairs and ANZU is a great choice to dine.
- RashidJuly 12, 2017Located in the downtown of SF next to the union square.where malls, theaters & 24/hr restaurants, cafes around u, friendly staff, clean & good facilities.
- J BJanuary 28, 2018This hotel is worth every penny you spend on a room and experiences you have while staying at this property! Worth it, so do it!!
- LillianMarch 10, 2015Free WiFi if you sign up for their One Harmony Card. It's free to sign up. Do it before arriving at your hotel. Print out the membership card & show when you check-in. Your welcome :)
- Donny Fluegel IIIAugust 7, 2012Staying at the Hotel Nikko? If so, you have to get the Imperial Pacakge, its an awesome deal!! It includes free in-room internet, gym/pool access, free breakfast, happy hour, and amazing views of SF
- Melea S.January 7, 2013They take dogs. And treat them well. Free dog toys on check-in. You can avoid internet fees by booking on their website and going for the six dollar upgrade.
- They might have over played the extent of the refurbishment slightly, but really enjoyed our stay. Great gym and pool with Starbucks just off the lobby.
- Sashy RichmondAugust 8, 2013The King Size bed is very comfortable. I like the fact there is a private corridor for the bellmen to place your luggage. I also enjoy the view but would prefer if building had private balconies.
- SukiSeptember 17, 2020Nice hotel with a business-trip vibe if you’re into that. Rooms have a very complicated bidet situation that self cleans every few hours, making a robotic noise.
- Feinstein's at the Nikko is a fantastic showroom offer the best talent in an intimate setting. You may also rent out the entire club. For more infor on events contact mstriffeler@hotelnikkosf.com
- Alice FerrisSeptember 12, 2015Try the Gyoza - In the Imperial Lounge, comp apps and wine before dinner and a show. Nice upgrade, @goalbustersjim. (via @Foodspotting)
- Mitch GaynycdadMarch 30, 2013Union Square hotel with an indoor pool at a great price. Best value I have found in San Francisco, and I researched for a month!
- FlorMarch 27, 2013If you book on Nikko's website and you are undecided between rooms book the cheapest. They might prompt you to a screen that offers you a cheap upgrade e.g. from imperial room to suite for extra $45!
- Russell Allen EsmusAugust 13, 2014On Tuesday nights they feature guest DJs for Saké & Sound. It has a mellow lounge vibe.
- Keith SwiderskiMarch 18, 2014There is a little place outside, through the pool area, with four lounge chairs and a great tanning location in late afternoons.
- Mikuláš ŠkorpilJuly 3, 2018Nice hotel, but I think it is quite overpriced. Generally the hotel is nice and clean and the staff is very friendly.
- May Luk CeramicsDecember 31, 2013Hotel pool is sufficient for an after work out dip, but not deep enough for lap swim. The restaurant anzu is very nice with sensible portions.
- jiresellOctober 5, 2016Not sure it's worth the price. Great location but room we got had stained bedspread which took three calls to get corrected. Staff was nice however.
- Check out the new Sunday Brunch Menu. We are saving the Buffet for the big holidays, Easter, Mother's Day, etc. The new menu offers many choices at affordable prices. www.restaurantANZU.com
- Warning! $200/day additional security deposit required before they’ll let you check in
- ᴡ SocaDecember 3, 2015Teeny tiny room but makes up for it with great sheets, a mountain of pillows and good bath products
- Y. NEGi SatoJanuary 22, 2013good hotel with great view (1801) and huge bathroom ! the only "agh" is they charge u to use gym ...
- Ugur CemenOctober 12, 2014Nice and clean hotel.Location was very good.But they charge for wi-fi and parking..Parking was 50$ for day.It was expensive .
- Nice rooms with great views. Very friendly staff. Restaurant is overpriced.
- Although located in the Hotel Nikko, this is a great and very underutilized gym. Has a full size pool, hot tub, sun deck, gym, sauna and steam room.
- Jess NhaMarch 14, 2016Horrible experience at Hotel Nikko. The room was old looking with stained carpet, scratched up furnitures, over priced, and the mini fridge wouldn't even open... Overall worst places I've stayed in.
- Rich GarberNovember 14, 2013Book your room through the hotel's web site and they throw in Internet service. Nice place.
- Great hotel! Stay here everytime - only #fail is that they have poor cable tv content - can certainly do better. Staff good/ rooms fantastic
- Tony EdwardsMay 8, 2013Great hotel and close to Union Square, the Powell Street Trolley turn around and the F train stop.
- Tuesdays in the lounge have awesome DJs and Sake deals!
- Tony EdwardsMay 8, 2013If you forgot anything, visit the @Walgreens flagship location at 135 Powell St. Killer store! #sfwag
