- shane murrayFebruary 6, 2014The Hyatt has several attractions, including the famous Pineapples outside bar. Great food, frozen drinks, and an incredible view of the Newport bridge and various yachts.

- Jeffrey-Ryan B.October 21, 2013Such a great location and amazing water views, also able to take the shuttle to many places around Newport and it's included in the 'Resort Fee' they charge
- Andrew T.June 25, 2016Absolute hidden gem in terms of outdoor waterfront drinking and dining, but the food itself and bar/restaurant service are seriously lacking.
- Jeffrey-Ryan B.October 21, 2013All things during summer are expensive and staying at this property you get a good deal on what ya pay for. It is a resort so there is a resort fee added to the bill prior to departure
- US NavyNovember 10, 2011The hotel's site used to be home to Fort George, a fortification erected before the Revolutionary War, and the Naval Torpedo Station, which was used to experiment with explosives and stationary mines.
- Claudio OliveiraJune 19, 2011Resort fee is $35....but includes shuttle into downtown, water, gym, etc not bad. Great view! Priceline it & get hotel for 1/3 normally listed price.
- We stayed on the Captain's Quarters on the 3rd floor. The walls are paper thin. it sounded like the people in the room next door were talking in our room. We could hear everything - even the bathroom.
- Shawna SwiftJuly 29, 2010Nice place to stay, beautiful view of the bridge, and there is a shuttle that brings you to Thames St on St. Pattys day.
- Mike CordeiroJuly 13, 2012have M.C. Music Productions make your next event shine! Photobooth uplighting and more
- ᴡ macmahonApril 25, 2010Stunning location, grotty hotel. Could be a motel 8. And the staff aren't exactly helpful: Alex the manager wouldn't deviate the route of the shuttle bus 3 miles to help out 10 of his guests get to a
- AnnaJanuary 1, 2014Stay was ok except the fact that at New Year's Eve they closed the bar at 12.30 and called the police to oust those who decided to stay in a lobby for chatting. That was not customer oriented at all.
- Carolyna ZAugust 7, 2014Please make sure you call to check on your reservation before you get there. They tend to give away your room EVEN THOUGH you made a reservation. ALL STAFF THERE IS VERY RUDE!!!! Never going back.
- Haig VartivarianAugust 25, 2015This place is not worth the prices. Management is not customer service savvy. As a platinum member at $500 a night they couldn't even extend late checkout. Would never stay here again.
- Jay MartinoSeptember 1, 2013Expensive and not much works right. Grout falling out of shower. No regulation of temperature and view is less than desirable for a water view on the east side. Friendly atmosphere.
- Ashleigh BSeptember 25, 2010Kitchen closes at 11, bar's last call at 1230. Staff was somewhat clueless. View is great, but hotel is far too overpriced.
- Sean HollandAugust 31, 2010Avoid at all costs. Terribly run down hotel, clueless staff, unbelievable extra charges.
