The staff was very friendly and helpful and the service was excellent! Very good food! I highly recommend getting one of the soups. I had mushroom on this visit. I will definitely be back soon!
Ostia Antica is a really interesting archeological site that is similar to Pompeii but is much closer to Rome and also doesn't have the large crowds.
Wonderful juxtaposition between the modern machinery and the Classical Roman sculptures!
Make sure to go to the other side of the museum to see the wonderful collection of Imperial Portraits
While in Rome spend free time around the Colosseum to watch the pedestrians and to just really take in the history and beauty of the structure.
I recommend going to on a walk around the south side of the Comune di Roma for a breathe-taking view of the Forum

The Meadows Museum has a wonderful collection of Spanish Art that includes works by Santiago Calatrava, Joan Miro, Martin Rico, Diego Velazquez, and many more!
Great museum for those interested in Etruscan archaeology! Many great and well known objects, including the Chimera of Arezzo!

The museum has a wonderful photographic collection with many examples of historic or alternative processes as well as gelatin silver or color processes.
Great modern art museum! It's located in the Piazza del Duomo and has views of the duomo and Galleria Vittoria Emanuele II
Visiting here is a must when in Milan! It's a glass-covered area with exquisite mosaic floor that has many high-end stores right off the Piazza del Duomo.
Fun place to visit and tour or see an opera! Sometimes there are rehearsals during the day that can be seen if you are not planning to stay for an opera.

This museum, located in the EUR, holds many plaster casts and copies of Roman works along with a model of Rome from the time of Constantine. The cast of the Column of Trajan is one of the highlights!
