- KinoSeptember 25, 2014Il Bambino makes delicious paninis. I like the Italian Meatloaf Panini, with its tender meat, tomato pesto, & spicy. Beer & wine available. Soups not available in the summer. There's a Backyard Patio.
- Jon MinnersJanuary 10, 2016They haven't had butternut squash soup in awhile. That was great. They replaced it w/ a tomato bisque soup. Also awesome. The Notorious PIG and the Cheese Us Christo are our favorite brunch paninis.
- Florence HFebruary 6, 2015If you're there with a friend or on a date, I recommend splitting a panini and getting a mix of crostini. Any crostini with truffle butter is a win. And try the chicken with pesto panini. Solid food.
- M TFebruary 26, 2015Paninis look small but incredibly filling. Full menu available always. So many great #paninis I need to go back #astoria #queenseats #foodie #nomnom #italian #ilbambino #brunch #nyc
- Brian ParkJune 19, 2016What an amazing little charcuterie and panini restaurant! Definitely split a charcuterie platter with your mate(s), and grab a panini as an entree! If you can, take advantage of their outdoor seating
- Can you go wrong with anything here? They bring out their brunch panini game on Friday's, Saturday's, and Sunday's. Amazing soups make up for the fact that their hot chocolates are "okay," though.
- Nice brunch spot in Astoria. They specialities are panini sandwiches with a great twist infused with your favorite breakfast goodies. The service and prices were great. There all about there bacon!!!
- Lori LuoAugust 11, 2014Well executed small plates and sandwiches are the norm at Il Bambino, all at wallet-friendly prices. Try the Argula Mimosa as a starter, and opt for a panini such as the Soppressata.
- Great outdoor seating out back. Delicious Crostini and Panini. Dozens of options. You'll have to visit a few times to try them all. And you should totally do that.
- Sam HirschJune 11, 2013Crostinis are perfect. For our group of 3 we got the pupu platter of 6 crostinis & the string bean salad and were thrilled. Good coffee is a bonus. Can't wait to come for brunch!
- Paninis are amazing here. My favorite are the chicken mozzarella and on the weekend, get the pass the hash
- Daryl Ray CarlilesMay 12, 2012Panini Panini Panini! IL Bambino is the King of Panini's! I personally can not get enough of the Roasted Chicken with Mozzarella and I like to make it my own with Basil Pesto and Artichokes! SO GOOOD!
- I agree that the chicken/mozzarella/spicy mayo panini is killer, but the fried eggplant/pesto panini is the best sandwich I've ever had. Better than anything I had in Italy. This place is a dream
- Delightful and helpful staff. My date was craving a panini that had been on a previous menu and they not only helped recall all the ingredients but surprised us with it :)
- I have to confess that I order the same panini every time I'm here - the chicken and arugula with mozzarella and spicy mayo. It's just the best.
- OMG I don't know why I'd never been to this place before! Everything is freaking delicious and worth trying, warm crispy sandwiches are the best.
- Tony XerriMay 19, 2014The Weekend Debris is worth the trip but be warned, you're better off splitting one panini and a side because they are massive. Service was a little off but the food alone is worth coming back for.

- John VaghiMay 2, 2019Beware, the “Fresh OJ” is actually just Tropicana...but it pairs oddly well with the first (of three) Roast Chicken paninis.
- Absolutely amazing. The tomato soup, prosciutto crostini, mushroom panini, cheese platter...mmmm everything.
- AlyciaMarch 18, 2011I have YET to be disappointed by anything I have had from here! All of the paninis are delicious and don't get me started on the fingerling potato salad !!
