- Finley Bomer-LawsonNovember 6, 2015Dinner here is absolutely out of this world. Wonderfully curated dishes that complement one another. You have to surrender to the experience - order lots of dishes to share. One of my favorite spots.
- This cafe is so charming! If you've come for brunch, try the poached eggs served with smoked salmon and pickled onions on scallion pancakes. (Because you can DIY avocado toast at home, let's be real.)
- KESeptember 12, 2016Arrive by 11am to avoid a brunch wait! Ambiance is lovely. Spanish style eggs, served in a cast iron pan were heavenly. Everything is flavorful. Solid brunch options, good service on a pretty block.
- Joyce YaoMarch 17, 2015So great! Love love this little cafe. Interior is really cool, food is excellent. Went twice for brunch. Ricotta toast = incredible. Smoked salmon with scallion pancakes = holy crap. Highly recommend
- Savannah PetrickApril 10, 2016great environment for a relaxing weekend lunch. the coffee is very good. try the salmon & eggs. the turkey breast sandwich is a little dry and the market salad is nothing to write home about.
- Go for dinner if you want to avoid the crazy waits at brunch. Also you can go next door to the market and pick up many of the same brunch items to go like avo toast w/ eggs and the breakfast baguette.
- Selena DelgadoMarch 17, 2013Familial atmosphere & ambiance. Order huevos rancheros, ham & cheddar biscuit with soft boiled eggs (divine), and baguettes. Finish off the breakfast with their petite cinnamon roll with coffee.
- The Corcoran GroupJuly 14, 2011A great café for sipping an iced-coffee while reading or relaxing on a lazy afternoon. The avocado sandwich is out of this world. Bring cash because they don’t accept credit cards.
- The New YorkerAugust 4, 2014The Brooklyn Heights restaurant offers a “lovely dinner service that’s conversant in the clichés of the borough—think kale croquettes—but never succumbs to them.” Read more

- NearSay NYCJuly 25, 2011Tucked into an amazingly quiet & serene corner of Brooklyn just a short walk from the Promenade, Iris is a charming place w/ laid back atmosphere. The smoked curried turkey salad is incredibly tasty!
- Joo JooApril 30, 2015I've never had their breakfast but their dinner was good. Octopus, chicken/kale. Delicious. In a great location! Walk near the water after you pig out
- a strict luddite-like code of conduct prevails, applied most severely at the convergence of social media and digital technology, but the artisan avocado toast and goose egg sandwiches are delightful.

- Mark BoeseMarch 23, 2012Cortado hit the spot but the oatmeal cookie really sold me - that and the eye-grace running the register. Next time in NY, gonna have to get the soft-boiled's and toast.
- BasakApril 1, 2015Hidden gem for breakfast. Avocado toast and shakshuka is amazing. Cash only is the only bummer.

- Andrew BuckleyJuly 16, 2012Great place and friendly staff, just be prepared for a 20min wait for a table for breakfast. At least they do takeaway coffee a few shops further up the road
- Pia ChévereOctober 28, 2015Very disappointing compared to my last visit at Iris, which was great. Cappuccino was very milky, chilaquiles weren't good and waitress Natalia didn't seem to enjoy her waitress job at all!
- EM H.March 27, 2016No more scallion pancakes with the smoked salmon, just toast 😒 pretty pricey for boring menu. But cool interior!
- Matt DorvilleAugust 10, 2014Salads here are especially awesome. Also they have a cool little grocery mart.
- David RiveraMarch 25, 2012Great place. A hidden gem. Def on the avocado toast and the Cortado (just shy short of a Cuban Cortadito).
