The Getty Center offers a substantial collection of art pieces including sculptures, paintings, stencils, photography, and is an almost unique place to look at the whole of Los Angeles at once.

Allot a whole day for this to make the most out of the stay. The Getty not only has beautiful artworks but a spectacular view as well. Also a great place to read and relax.

The museum's official Sketching Gallery encourages guests to literally draw inspiration from traditional art pieces. Guests can work with an easel or at a shared table, and it's complimentary.

Probably one of the most beautiful and exciting places to know in LA. And free. And works. Try to spend a spring afternoon and have some wine on the grass. Relaxing.

If you're interested in architecture, especially Meier, take the architectural tour (usually every hour). The guides are very knowledgeable, although this tour does last for 1h, so budget accordingly.
