Finally find a place in Brooklyn Heights that makes French Toast right. Add bacon if you're in an adventure mood, won't regret.

I like the oyster house in the back the best. GREAT Mac n cheese & brussel sprouts and awesome happy hour. But the oyster house is NEVER open and the restaurant is a bit stuffy so I don’t visit often

I walked in at 10pm with my date and we were given a corner booth; romance! The mussels and scallops are both divine. The "hippie" music is a wink amidst the gastropub setting.

Finally a chef who knows where the effort should be made to make a decent omelette, although there is still room for improvement. Pork sausage patties are quite delicious too.

when I first tasted the Ricotta & Butternut Squash Ravioli, I was speechless, and maybe a little teary eyed. And while the portion is not huge, it is worth the $11. Read more

Great neighborhood restaurant. Fave pick is the mussels and frites. Good selection of beer, wine and cocktails. Brunch is good, but aim to get there just as they open or late to beat crowds.

Food actually wasn't that great, but liked the atmosphere and location enough to heart it. The wine/oyster bar attached to the restaurant is worth a visit for a drink.

The wall of antique clocks is surprisingly relaxing, watching them tick on, unaware of their age, as you drink, fully aware of yours. If you need a distraction, go for the smoked gouda mac ‘n cheese.

This upscale pub is as beloved for the welcoming vibe and quirky vintage clock fixtures as it’s new American fare and craft cocktail menu.

Mac and cheese was perfect. If you want a hearty meal, get the hanger steak or the pork chop. Semi casual place, not overly expensive.

moules frites are reliably satisfying and delicate: mussels served in a ginger-infused broth, fries enriched by flavors of lemon and parsley. good neighborhood spot. their old fashioned deserves kudos

Mac and cheese. Brussel sprouts. 1862 cocktail is sweet, then spicy. One of the best happy hours, and happens every day.
