Fantastic selection of beer, and not all German! Service also fantastic. Our guy was from Nepal and I'd be hard pressed to remember a better waiter in all of Boston.

The best schnitzels in Boston. Try the German mixed grill and sausage & sauerkraut balls with hundreds of German beers too.

Great variety of beer here. Also, a piano player leads everyone along in sing-a-longs. Had a lot of fun singing with the bar.

I really like the schnitzel here and also the fish and chips. This place also does killer chicken fingers and potato pancakes. Nice selection of beer also.

Looks like time stopped here. Definitely my favorite German place in Boston. One small thing: I suppose the level of service could be a little bit better. The food is really delicious though.

The best place to spend a night around Christmas time drinking beer and singing Christmas carols. During the non-holiday season, the German beer selection is best in Boston. Pair it with a braut.

Love the history and story behind Jacob Wirth (see link below). Check above the bar, SUUM CUIQUE, Latin for, “Each his own.” Great selection of beers & comfort food. Nice to go to pre/post theater. Read more

A legendary Boston restaurant which badly needs a reboot. Standard American fare with some German dishes is pretty good. The sing alongs are fun too.

The Sam Adams Boston Brick Red is pretty much impossible to find anywhere outside of Boston, and it may very well be the perfect beer. Make sure to try it here.

14Jacob Wirth, Boston's favorite German Ale House since 1868, pours from an extensive beer list and delivers a 1/4 pound Angus beef burger with a Bud Light draft for just $5 every Mon-Frid until 2pm.

Don't go here for the food - it is as far from German food as Your local Chinese take-out is original Chinese cuisine. Tried the jäger schnitzel and the sauerbraten - both mediocre.
