- A A.May 7, 2018I love here!!! Their Bloody May is the best in NYC for me. Oyster collection is always awesome. Regular menu is great. But special menu.......you should just try.
- Cooper SmithFebruary 24, 2014Great spot to wait for a table at Joseph Leonard. The Near Mint Condition is an excellent variation of the whiskey sour with bourbon, mint, fig honey, and an egg white. Ask to see the cheese menu.
- SixxOctober 23, 2016Drinks are amazeballs thanks to Prudence the bartender. Had a Salty Chihuahua which was excellent. Then she made a concoction that included a Bayleaf and the tiniest sliver of bacon!
- Silene LimJuly 14, 2018Fresh simple and delicious. Summer app special with feta and watermelon with pesto. I had the crab and avocado toast, too small as it was delicious.
- Roniel TesslerMay 27, 2018The white fish is great. Fries are killer. The pancakes are a standout dish - some of the best homemade whipped cream I've ever had.
- Michael MureSeptember 29, 2013Can't say enough good things about the food or the service. Killer cocktail menu, and the short rib special was to die for. Will be back (soon and frequently). Look forward to sampling the raw bar.
- Wim CambyMarch 3, 2018They always have outstanding specials. Their food is always great - the desserts are insanely good too. 80's music rocks this joint! Upbeat and lively! Staff is sooo kind and lovely!
- Known for oysters, but you can't go wrong with anything you order here. Unbelievable fries, fab lobster spaghetti, and yummy salmon riette. Music got me dancing in the bathroom.
- Era SinghFebruary 16, 2014Yum!! We all loved what we got - grilled oysters, skirt steak (amazing!), and crab fettuccine (so creamy and rich!). Def recommend! Oh and complimentary cookies to end the meal!
- Paul LomaxSeptember 6, 2013Controversially, I didn't actually enjoy the Brisket Sandwich. However, I loved everything on the 'raw bar' menu! Great grilled fish (Skate) too, and a good wine list (esp the Santorini).
- Ryan ZolaApril 16, 2014Don’t leave without trying their version of the Eggs Benedict, made with pork belly rillettes and a roasted tomato hollandaise. Bonus: all the Bloody Marys are served with a beer chaser.
- Get the special. No matter what it is, it is always spectacularly delicious. We are here often and I almost always end up getting the special and it never disappoints!
- Joel SavitzkyMay 19, 2013The Bloody Mary is solid but the bialy with whitefish salad, horseradish cream and fried egg is unreal.
- Blake LJanuary 5, 2018A casual and cosy vibe. Great music & the perfect snowy day meal. Mussels with a glass of Chablis.
- Village VoiceAugust 15, 2014Standout dishes include braised lamb shank with polenta and pickled vegetables and a brisket sandwich with Muenster cheese and a finger-staining beet slaw. Read more
- Ryan WilliamsNovember 14, 2012"Head to the back-room raw bar and go for it: The Plateau de la Mer ($50) offers oysters, clams, king crab legs, shrimp; the Grand Plateau de la Mer ($75) has got oysters, clams, king crab legs..." Read more
- CharlottesMarch 21, 2015Love this place! Would never usually go for grilled oysters but they are perfect accompaniment to cocktails. Can't wait to work my way thru menu here.
- Serious EatsNovember 1, 2011Chocolate Coffee Cake. Is this a muffin? Well, it's baked in a muffin tin, so we can pretend. The tin gives the perfect texture—light and fluffy on the inside, crisp on the outside. Delicious. Read more
- Nancy KangAugust 4, 2013Came here bc it was Thrillist's "Best Breakfast." It lived up to its title. The corned beef hash was unlike any I've ever had before. Not fatty! Lean! The runny egg & sizzling plate = an extra bonus.
- Yura LeeJune 14, 2015So I came during their "snack" hour in between brunch and lunch on a Sunday. Had oysters from their raw bar which was very good and then their Bloody Mary, less good
- Looking for the moistest brisket sandwich in nyc? Search no further.
- Halley MarieJuly 27, 2019Happy hour oysters were phenomenal, skip the cheese board it was very under whelming. Salads were a good size and house rosé was delicious!
- Vince C.March 26, 2016Had the skate wing special - it was great, get it if you can. The clam chowder is more brothy (don't think they use cream) if that's what you're looking for, steer clear!
- Alice EunjinApril 29, 2015"Eggs Benedict, made with pork belly rillettes and a roasted tomato hollandaise. Bonus: all the Bloody Marys are served with a beer chaser."

- Bryan KujawskiApril 17, 2012It's amazing what this place to create with such a minimalist kitchen (literally just a few hot plates). try the mushroom egg dish which is served over a decadent grilled cheese sandwich!
- Lili BazJanuary 15, 2023Cozy restaurant that feels like you’re in New Hampshire. Definitely get some oysters, the crab dip, and the mussels in curry.
- IrmaZandl ZandlSlantNovember 21, 2014Really delicious- the brussel sprouts salad is amazing and the eggs with squash toast absolutely out of this world.
- Uber NYCApril 5, 2013Try the Bloody Caesar - Tito’s vodka-and-Clamato combo bursts with chilled artichokes, tail-on shrimp, an oyster, and pickles.
- Come for the raw bar. Stay for the specials. Service is lovely, as it is at all Gabe Stulman restaurants. Little Wisco, FTW.
- Stuhlman's sandwich and raw bar contemporary luncheonette nails it with great beers and wines and even a small grocery store with stumptown coffee and other perishables. Try the braised brisket sammie
- Ozgur K.April 14, 2017Great Bloody Mary, comes with the lager. Oyster and omelettes are also extraordinary. Try the pork belly..
- Brunch here never disappoints. Get the crab biscuit benedict and a bloody caesar.

- JessicaLaurenSFFebruary 24, 2013I've been here more times than I'd like to admit. This time I am disappointed. A $14 sandwich that says avocado and comes with guacamole makes a big difference. So long, Jeffrey's.
- Ronald CattrysseJuly 18, 2017I really like this brunch spot: seafood oysters seafood oysters Bloody Mary.
- EMarch 18, 2015Must get Bloody Mary here, all types available! One of my go to spots for brunch in nyc.
