Jeffrey Wu: No Gucci ski jackets?! Cheap ski rentals for the 2 year old. The 6 year old Ripper gets her own boards from the DPS boys at 1300 East in Sugarhouse!
Jeffrey Wu: A solid apres ski food & drinks joint in BCC. Right down canyon from SolBright ski areas. They have a shuttle to pick you up, if you lack a car. Solid American-ized food options, and beer choices.
Jeffrey Wu: It’s a moderately upscale, suburban mall with all the usual retail store suspects, and horrid fast food choices. It’s clean and sterile, but not unique anywhere in a mildly prosperous American city.
Jeffrey Wu: Unique mall in SLC. Nice accompaniment of retail stores. Good holiday displays, and next to Temple Square. Pick up some stuff, and get some (LDS) religion too.
Jeffrey Wu: Kimchi in Utah? Pretty authentic Korean food (not BBQ) and that’s from a NY’er with ready access to K-town. Meats with pickled veggies ... could be German but for the Asian spices.
Jeffrey Wu: My mothership! I love these guys ... everything outdoors, and great prices to boot! Ask these gear guys / gals, and they know the kit because they use it too!!
Jeffrey Wu: Get some outdoors kit, and feel good about supporting the outdoors too. None of that expensive outdoor fashion kit that’s entirely useless. Needs a more robust selection, for Park City!
Jeffrey Wu: Best sushi (probably) in the State of Utah. You’ll wait but it’s Park City so head to No Name Bar and get a few drinks or ice cream at Java Cow before coming back for your dinner reservation.

Hair Salon · 5 tips and reviews
Jeffrey Wu: Get the MVP treatment -hot towel and shampoo for $24. The wait is usually long but they do a fantastic job. Register and run a few errands.
Jeffrey Wu: Burger and fries & more. Always a great choice in St. George. Save some room for their deserts. I usually get their fish n’ chips, and great local beer from Zion Brewery. Good, solid American food!!
Jeffrey Wu: Stayed here because place a Springdale was booked. It’s a hike to Zion -41 minutes without traffic. Very hospitable staff and new facilities. They have a jacuzzi bath in all rooms. Great choice!
Jeffrey Wu: It’s tiny but nice walk in the park and some nice walls to climb. A blast for the kids (young ones), as they aren’t literally hanging from cliffs, as at Zion National Park!!
Chinese Restaurant · Downtown St. George · 5 tips and reviews
Jeffrey Wu: Acceptable Asian Fusion in St. George. It’s actually quite good and that’s saying a lot coming from a guy from NYC and having eaten many of the dishes from where they supposedly came in Asia.
Jeffrey Wu: Good, FRESH food!! Gyro is phenomenal, but so is all the other food. The espresso drinks are tremendous. Right across from the visitor’s center, it’s a nice place to unwind when Zion is packed!!
Jeffrey Wu: In a word, “STUNNING!!” Fills up fast (get there early and use shuttle during season), and some steep cliff exposure, even on moderate hikes. The views are worth every effort. Fantastic!!
Jeffrey Wu: Wowzers! No where I’d rather be than here. Even bad snow, Solitude is the bomb. It’s quiet and tranquil. Go to Nordic Center, get you some snow shoes, or CC skis ... good for the soul!!

Whisky Bar · Chāoyáng qū · 9 tips and reviews
Jeffrey Wu: Umm unique drinks, stunning city views, live music, and beautiful ladies serving drinks —what else needs to be said? It’s expensive, but that’s to be expected.
Jeffrey Wu: 100% custom suits, shirts, pants, jackets for fairly reasonable prices. There are plenty in China and I think middle-class Chinese all have their clothes tailor-made. Lots of stylistic choices.
Jeffrey Wu: When the Chinese do it right, it’s good. This is a tasty, healthy, artistic breakfast. Most Chinese won’t spend that kind of money on yogurt in the AM, but I was craving my usual breakfast.
Jeffrey Wu: Best Peking Duck ... always reliable (and authentic) choice. We had about 10 people and had private dining room, and the service was impeccable. The other dishes were also good and well presented.

Hotel · Chāoyáng qū · 26 tips and reviews
Jeffrey Wu: Classic Ritz-Carlton hospitality with a Chinese flare. The staff was overly attentive. It’s situated in the business area, so very Western oriented with lots of high-end stores and (Chinese) food.

Jeffrey Wu: I enjoyed it more than the Forbidden City. Here, China was a flourishing civilization whereas the Palace of the People reminds China and the world what it’s like to be weak.

Dumpling Restaurant · Chāoyáng qū · 36 tips and reviews
Jeffrey Wu: It’s a Taiwanese staple. The soup dumplings are the best in the world and the other food is also scrumptious and delicious. Not so expensive and very good. You’ll wait in peak times.
Hotpot Restaurant · Dōng sì shítiáo · 53 tips and reviews
Jeffrey Wu: Waygu beef was amazing. 5 giant draught beers (pi jiu) (Stella). Over abundance of food, taxi using DiDi, and stellar hot pot meal on very cold Beijing night (3 people) was approx. $85.00 USD. Nice!
