- If you're hungry (and even if you're not) you HAVE GOT to try the Chicken Avocado sandwich at CamdenFoods Co! It's the taste of heaven!
- Still trying to discover what’s the cheapest way (Uber/ Lyft/ yellow cab) to get to and from the airport-Manhattan. Beware landing late at night! Uber and Lyft rates skyrocket up to $250!!

- Paul FraitesJanuary 2, 2018Huge airport, make sure you arrive at least 3 hours prior to your flight. The long lines at the JetBlue terminal for security check-in will most likely be consumed there.
- The only filtered water station in Terminal 5 is between Gates 27 and 28.

- Cheapest way to get to JFK: With a metrocard, take the 3 (or 4 sometimes) train to New Lots stop. Take the B15 to Terminal 4. If needed, take AirTrain for free to other terminals. You're welcome.

- jetBlue has the nicest terminal at JFK (T5). You can also find the TWA Hotel at T5. Arrange pick up at Lefferts Blvd for easier access.
- Dan KrollAugust 29, 2014As a solo traveler I found it very easy to get there by the airtrain/subway, self-checked in with only carry-on, and the line wasnt too bad even on a long holiday weekend on friday afternoon.
- Absolute mad house the passanger pickup in this place. However you can always play hide and seek with the security by stopong where the groups are bt the road and coordinate qith the passanger.
- Terminal 5: Muji to go is super helpful for picking up last minute travel size cosmetics and it's super cheap!
- Deep Blue (Terminal 5) is the absolute best Sushi you can have at any airport. Try it if you are flying with Jet Blue.
- Restaurants at JFK are above average for airport food-you have a lot to choose from (french,sushi,tapas,pizza and baked by Melissa cupcakes)
- JetBlue has the easiest to navigate, not to mention the cleanest and well-designed terminal at JFK. They are the best airline by far.

- From terminal to terminal, you feel like you are at different airports. If all terminals become just like the most recently upgraded one, this is actually a nice airport with AirTrain service

- JFK is accessible via train which LGA and EWR do not. My Uber from midtown Manhattan would have been $109 but taking the E train express ($2.90) and connecting to Airtrain ($9.25) saved time & $$.

- Brian Grogan Jr.February 18, 2017The AirTrain is a nice way to get to the airport, and around the terminals. If you've flown out of other airports in the New York area, you really come to appreciate the AirTrain!
- There's a second Shake Shack further down in the international terminal that is a lot less crowded than the main one. Less important: the airport gets you other places.
- Buzzing as always. Security queues tends to be longer so keep walking and follow the instructions of the officer to get it through quickly.
- Nando TiconDecember 12, 2014McDonalds and Starbucks are in the Terminal 1. Just get the Airtrain and in 5 minutes you'll find decent food for decent price. After check in, you'll find more food options.

- Don't be mislead by the first "American" sign you see. It's got spelling mistake, they really were trying to say "US Airways". The real AA checkin is in the back, all the way in the back.

- Jeffrey StanleyDecember 17, 2014International terminal was wonderful but very crowded, even on a Saturday night during August. Plenty of parking but very expensive. You might as well rent a vehicle and drop-off there or hire a taxi.
- Airtrain to Jamaica and LIRR to Penn station is the way to go, $12 off peak and takes around 30 minutes to get to Manhattan
- Get TSA precheck. It’s worth the extra money if you fly more than 2 times a year.

- According to American Airlines 50 minutes before a 6am flight is WAAAAAYY to late. They make you pay more to standby till 5pm. Thank you airlines for making travel so painless and affordable! 😘
