John Kraft: U-pick operation begun decades ago. Delicious summer peaches mainly, but check for other options. Buy already picked & get fresh ice cream too. Port-a-potties need attention so “go” before if you can.
John Kraft: Many choices at this food court inside state government building & they do a pretty good job. I like the Grill )which often has a long line). Nice job with Philly Cheesesteaks & other options.
John Kraft: Like other Mellow Mushrooms, this Rome one was good tonight. Have them make a garlic/olive oil base pizza with steak & caramelized onions. Really good. Wife likes Cosmic Karma or Holy Shiitake.

John Kraft: Peach cobbler French toast very sweet, but very good. Scrambled eggs done just right. Out of breakfast tea & despite many open tables, wouldn’t seat 3/4 of our party until last arrived. Would go back.

John Kraft: 1st time trying. Cons: Pepsi products, no unsweet tea & $10+ for a single burger combo. Pros: good burger, TON of tots (would share next time) & good sweet tea, all freshly prepped. Big menu.

John Kraft: Nostalgia & good Southern food gives a nice mix for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Blue Plate lunch choices offer good “meat & 2” choices. Got the special - trout amandine today with slaw & squash. Good.

John Kraft: It was good, though our expectations, like the prices, were even higher. Spaghetti with meatballs is a classic option. Chocolate mousse for dessert was good too. Good, but pricey cocktails.

John Kraft: I have gotten the curried chicken salad sandwich several times over the years & have been pleased. I was worried about the curry, but it’s not overwhelming & really pretty good.
John Kraft: This new location (year or so) gives them room to spread out, thankfully. Classic old style meat & 2 with salads, bread, veggie & dessert choices. Country-fried steak with white gravy was good.
John Kraft: Great boxed tea selections & other food snack/cookies treats, etc. Also good for phone chargers, men’s socks & accessories & occasionally shoes. Wife loves it for other reasons.
John Kraft: Rustic, but a good time if that’s what you’re expecting - & “outpost” is in their name. Draft beer choices were wiped out, but we found acceptable cans & had a nice time around the fire pit.
John Kraft: Lots of beer choices, as you’d expect. They were patient as we chose & will give small taste samples. Try a reasonably-priced beer flight for a variety - lagers, IPAs, stouts, sours & more.
John Kraft: We had the Sweet Pig combo - very tender BBQ pork w/ slaw (on sandwich) on a nice bun. Came with tasty little fried potato cubes & a good iced tea. Ended up eating sandwich with fork - messy but good!
John Kraft: Slim-3 Tuna on 9-grain sub roll plus a drink & you’re out the door for $6 & change. And they’re freaky fast. If picking up, you may want to mask-up in pandemic, as staff did not appear to be wearing.
John Kraft: First visit since this has been Doro’s. Pizza was good: 1/2 & 1/2 medium (wife likes veggy; I like the meaty). Nice crust with crumbly Parmesan. Good little complimentary bread knots too.
John Kraft: Really good bagels & spreads. Be sure to try the super cinnamon. The extras - at least the bacon - was marginal, but can’t go wrong with wealth of bagel choices.
John Kraft: 1st visit to Moe’s BBQ. It was really good. Got the pulled pork platter. Marinated slaw is a tangy vinegar-based. Mac-n-cheese good. Nice, dark iced tea. Only critique: cornbread never needs peppers.
John Kraft: The effigy has been degraded by time, souvenir seekers & past excavations, but is still evident from the observation tower to an extent. Extensive info-markers & trails are still worth the stop.
John Kraft: This location also good as is the Smyrna one. Had the Branzino sautéed, with beurre blanc sauce. Tasty lobster bisque. Good crab cake appetizer. Duck-fat fingerling potatoes & spinach made good sides.
