John Kraft: The effigy has been degraded by time, souvenir seekers & past excavations, but is still evident from the observation tower to an extent. Extensive info-markers & trails are still worth the stop.
John Kraft: This location also good as is the Smyrna one. Had the Branzino sautéed, with beurre blanc sauce. Tasty lobster bisque. Good crab cake appetizer. Duck-fat fingerling potatoes & spinach made good sides.
John Kraft: A must visit. Abandoned 500 yrs., the largest mound is still 6 stories high. An impressive location & history on the banks of the Etowah River.
John Kraft: So many Shane’s have closed, you have to stop if passing through Cartersville. Get the Big Dad BBQ sandwich combo with the good 3-sided fries & iced tea.
John Kraft: First visit. Had a good burger & wife enjoyed fried flounder sandwich. Burger came with hush pups (fries xtra) but they have unnecessary peppers in them. Will go again & try different.
John Kraft: It’s your standard Texas RH. Good rolls. Great salad & baked potato. 6oz sirloin is a great & economical choice. Today’s was very thick & thus very undercooked, but others in party were fine.
John Kraft: Four of us shared cheeseburger, fried ribs & pizza box nachos & all liked. Sides: battered fries, onion rings & crispy sweet potato waffle fries. Beware a “non-cash” up-charge for a credit card.
John Kraft: This place is fairly convenient, but we forget about it. Check for specials. We stopped in for a pizza. A little slow with food due to crowd plus short staffing, but good & server kept us updated.
John Kraft: Check for 99 cent taco night - it made for a crazy good deal as wife & I were in a hurry headed to a show, so had no drinks. Bill was less than $5. Remember to tip well.

John Kraft: This is upscale dining with prices to match. Top notch service & food. I got the flounder meunière with duck-fat-fried fingerling potatoes & sautéed spinach. Delicious.

John Kraft: Fun “North Pole” trip around Christmas for young ones. The museum style “exhibit” in separate building is pretty basic but collection of trains at station is cool.

John Kraft: Good BBQ & wife loved the fried pimento cheese balls. Piggy Mac was good & split BBQ plate. Personally don’t care for the peppers in baked beans but good overall & very convenient to aquarium.
John Kraft: Pizza, obviously, but sounded like other good options to try next time. I got a basic thick crust pepperoni & sausage. Wife got thin crust veggie something. Both good. Fun vibe inside.
John Kraft: The rigatoni ala vodka, with shrimp was very good, as was the complimentary bread with olive oil & a nice glass of house pinot noir. Wife liked her porcini with mushrooms too.

John Kraft: 1st visit in years. Pizza was good (large "by the slice"), beer cold & service attentive w/ servers scrambling. Kitchen got backed up & pizza took ~30 minutes. Still, worth it. We'll be back soon.
John Kraft: Haven’t been to a KFC in years. Classic chicken sandwich very tasty. Fries are good with a very light batter or crust, but they cool off in a hurry.
