John Kraft: Stop in not just for the free sampling cookie bar, but also to learn the fascinating history that brought this one-time cookie shanty to international fame. Scotch Oatmeal still the king.

John Kraft: Come for the coffee, stay for the breakfast. Try the Barnard St. Breakfast - the most traditional with eggs, meat & waffle. Very good. Pastries look good too. This is wife’s all-time fave coffee.

John Kraft: Classic visitor destination in Historic Savannah. Redeveloped in 70s/80s, the thriving pedestrian scene has shops, restaurants, bars, hotels & more. There is car traffic down the cobblestones too.
John Kraft: Delicious with great service. First visit since we lived here 16 yrs. ago. Sadly, 4-days later (Aug 2022), the restaurant burned. Unsure of its future at this point.

John Kraft: Haven’t stayed here yet, but toured the big hall, galleries, bars & restaurants. Fantastic redevelopment. I worked my 1st summer job here & later helped retire it from active service as a power plant.
John Kraft: So many choices. From a maple bacon doughnut to bright cereal-topped, with traditional choices in between, including sour cream, blueberry, chocolate & crumb as well as a tasty apple fritter.

John Kraft: Peregrin (rooftop bar at Perry Lane Hotel) made for a nice setting for tasty - if pricey - drinks. Great views & bartender was glad to adjust recipes if there was an ingredient listed we didn’t like.
John Kraft: It’s your basic Arby’s, but one of the newer design styles. They were fast & friendly inside & they still have the regular style fountain drink dispensers. Thankfully not the Freestyle!

John Kraft: We were there for a big work lunch. Sat outside so very hot in July but they took care of us. Lots of apps - sweet potato fries, etc. Good burger & others seemed pleased too.
John Kraft: Multiple types of chicken salad, of course. I like the “Fancy Nancy” that has nuts, but others good too. Even some other sandwich types, I’m told. Don’t forget the little cookie with your order.
John Kraft: This refers to the blueberry u-pick in the area. Great, friendly owner with very fair pricing. He gives a lot of help & info along the way. Call first to be sure when open for picking.
John Kraft: Met folks for a business meeting here. Had the lime-ginger tea. Surprisingly good. Also, a slice of tres leches cake. Delicious. Would try again if the opportunity arises.
John Kraft: 2nd visit a year after the first & just as good. Scoop of chocolate in a waffle cone is a solid choice but half-dozen others choices look good too. Take a cooler to bring home some fresh milk too.
John Kraft: U-pick operation begun decades ago. Delicious summer peaches mainly, but check for other options. Buy already picked & get fresh ice cream too. Port-a-potties need attention so “go” before if you can.
John Kraft: Many choices at this food court inside state government building & they do a pretty good job. I like the Grill )which often has a long line). Nice job with Philly Cheesesteaks & other options.
John Kraft: Like other Mellow Mushrooms, this Rome one was good tonight. Have them make a garlic/olive oil base pizza with steak & caramelized onions. Really good. Wife likes Cosmic Karma or Holy Shiitake.

John Kraft: Peach cobbler French toast very sweet, but very good. Scrambled eggs done just right. Out of breakfast tea & despite many open tables, wouldn’t seat 3/4 of our party until last arrived. Would go back.
