John Kraft: 1st visit: Sunday Brunch menu. Kendall, friendly server, reco’d chicken & waffles. Very good & actual fried chicken, not chicken tenders. Wife happy w/ fish tacos. White sangria & red; both very good.
John Kraft: 1st visit, so got fried chicken. Very good. Green beans, mashed sweet potatoes & Mac not bad either! Fish looked good too. Very decent prices.

John Kraft: Gyros are the go-to item here, obviously. Fairly decent lunch-combo pricing for downtown ATL. Gyro, fries & drink or salad & drink for $7.80 (in 2019).
Burger Joint · Peachtree Hills · 5 tips and reviews
John Kraft: It was good, but burger, fries & drink for $11.43 is too pricey to do often. Split the ample & unique fries if with someone. I’d leave off Big Al sauce to really taste the butter-grilled burger.
John Kraft: Wife loves the Floridian Omelette (it’s topped with crab meat). I go the sweet route with a bananas foster-Belgian Waffle. Very good. And Deneen Pottery mugs for sale.
John Kraft: It’s a little pricey, but you’re paying for fresh Gulf seafood in a resort area, so I suppose it’s to be expected. Very friendly owners in store & willing to help explain what’s available, etc.
John Kraft: I got shrimp & grits, which was “good.” Two in our party got pulled pork sandwich, liking it a lot (jalapeños in baked beans were totally unnecessary). Another got brisket sandwich & said very good.
John Kraft: Great view right on beach if sitting on deck. Good fried & other seafood at surprisingly reasonable prices. Rice, corn & mixed veggie sides nothing special, but the fish & shrimp are why you’re here.
John Kraft: Not bad at all. Not quite as overpriced as most Destin seafood places & decent fried fish & shrimp. In our book, a couple hush puppies are a gimme, but here it’s a side item choice for a bowl of them.
Breakfast Spot · Downtown Destin · 6 tips and reviews
John Kraft: This used to be an “Another Broken Egg” location & VERY similar still. Great service from Artur & great Bananas Foster Waffle. Wife loves coastal omelette.
John Kraft: Always a fave when in Destin area. 2 locations & both get swarmed, but Santa Rosa seems to have more donuts longer & may not get slammed quite as early. At 7:30 only 3 in line. Full meals avail too.
John Kraft: Can be crowded. Cookiewich (ice cream cookie sandwich) seems plenty big enough if tempted to the Bigwitch. Plain cookies should be delicious too.
John Kraft: Favorite Italian restaurant for 15-20 yrs, we miss it since we moved away. Still delicious. I can’t break from baked ziti w/sausage. Wife loves the manicotti. Great marinara & bread sticks too.
John Kraft: Don’t miss if you like history, architecture, coastal views or outdoor time. Large brick fort built on coastal mud in 1st half of 1800s complete with moat, draw bridge & Civil War cannon ball damage.
John Kraft: New shop in 2019. Have been twice & both were great. Slim 3 (tuna) on the new multi-grain wheat sub roll & drink gets you out for just over $6. Free street parking is odd but so far not a problem.
John Kraft: It’s Hilliard’s so you know what you’re getting - not fancy, but good, reliable food & service. Great fried seafood, - wife & I swap around fried flounder & shrimp excellent onion rings, slaw, etc.

John Kraft: A classic in Savannah for generations, w/ the decor & beautiful bar to prove it, some old classics are the crab stew & the CBP Burger. Many other choices as well. Try to park in back & enter there.
John Kraft: Lucky’s was a pleasant experience. Some good options. From one visit, can’t figure where it falls on the Trader Joe’s through Whole Foods spectrum, but check it out.
