My favorite place to get work done in North Beach. Great coffee, great vibes, good crowd.
Cute café with solid sandwiches (breakfast sandos are actually <$5...as they should be). Great place to camp out and work as well (head upstairs).
The coffee is great, as is the house chai! Their cinnamon toast, Welsh rarebit, and smoked trout toast are all so so good!
They serve bagels and breakfast sandwiches until 10:30am. After that they serve sandwiches. I had cafe au lait and a cheddar bacon scone. They were both great and well priced.
Found their groove. Seating is first-come, first-served. Dinner veggie burger is one of the best in sf: hearty and no frills. Fries are an extra $3.50 but worth it. Enjoy with a beer and all is good.
The Kurdish flatbread panni is awesome. It takes awhile to make cause, Havin's flatbread are made from scratch.
Best pastry selection! Dynamo donuts, homemade oreos, apricot almond bars and sea salt chocolate chip cookies.
The onisubi (rice balls) are the best. My favorites are the ones with fish: mentaiko (cod roe), salmon and tuna! Nom nom
