Julie Soscia: ANY David Chang spot is a good choice in my opinion. At this location, try the tasting menu with wine pairing - it's absolutely worth it!

Hot Dog Joint · East Village · 471 tips and reviews
Julie Soscia: Great spot for a late night hot dog. The dogs a bit larger than the standard Nathan's hot dog. The seating area is small and I recommend going on off-hours.

Julie Soscia: Ansel's entire menu has great options, but recently known for their cronut which is amazing! There are sometimes lines, so be prepared for a little wait.
Julie Soscia: A classic yet touristy steakhouse in NYC. Standard menu and generally satisfying. I typically go for a porterhouse at spots like this, but I would recommend the Cajun Ribeye instead.
Julie Soscia: All pizza is good pizza, right? Even in NYC. Emmy's has very good Detroit-style pizza. If feeling adventurous, opt for the fried chicken pizza.
Julie Soscia: Great coffee spot, originally from San Fran with a few locations throughout NYC. Try a snack (the avo toast is tasty) and a cortado coffee.

Julie Soscia: Very wall street-esque place. Don't skip the bread at the beginning - it's warm and served with liver paste covered in everything bagel seasoning. SO GOOD!

42 Grove St (btwn Bedford & Bleecker St), New York, NY
French Restaurant · West Village · 532 tips and reviews
Julie Soscia: One of the most authentic French restaurants in NYC - there is even a location in Paris! Start with the Mousse de Foie and the Coq au Vin as an entree paired with the Artichauts.
Julie Soscia: The most popular dish here is the burger with Roquefort and shoestring fries. To get the full experience and not miss out on the burger opt to split it and experiment with the small plates!
