"Clean and nicely appointed room for the price and location. Small, but that seems typical of NYC hotels. Staff are friendly and helpful. E line is a block away. Great Mexican restaurant next door."

"Veggie lunch buffet only $7.55! Order a traditional Ethiopian coffee service, something I haven't seen at any other local place. The owner is often the server & cook--she is very attentive & kind."

"The owners are really sensitive to allergies and dietary restrictions. Huge veg*n menu. Delicious food. Don't see what you're craving on the menu? Ask. They will probably offer to make it for you."

"Bring your own food and beverages. You can bring it on the train! Plus, if your train is delayed (likely), the food option at the station is a row of vending machines. You'll want that snack."

"German restaurant that caters to meat-eaters as well as vegetarians. Items that can be made vegan are marked on the menu. Somewhat limited options, but I appreciate that they try! Also, WEISSBIER!"
