- What a great new place. If you're looking for an authentic, healthy, modern, good tasting Scandinavian brunch or lunch, or a good cup of coffee with Danish Pastries, then this is the place.Upvoted Oct 19
- Joachim MajholmJune 27, 2018A little piece of Copenhagen in San Francisco: Great coffee from Heart Roasters, home made pastries - Tebirkes (almond paste) is a favorite! Breakfast porridge with egg on top.
- Get the tebirkes (poppy seeds pastry with almond paste)- they are absolutely delicious. Perfect balance of buttery flakiness and crunch. The brunch board is different but in a very good way. Love it!
- Everything is to die for. The food, coffees, pastries, service, decor, everything. The soft scrambled eggs are my favorite egg in the world. Super dog friendly, especially the bacon. Best brunch in SF
- A breakfast spot fave. Can’t go wrong with the trout & cod cakes, cured trout open-faced sandwich (so fresh), or the grovbirkes sandwich. That last one is truly effed up good.
- Simon BurnsJune 17, 2018Scones are amazing, so are cinnamon knots. Great espresso. Brunch is eccentric and unique - in a good way.
- The bords are a fantastic treat, as are the porridges and fresh baked pastries, which vary by day (and season). This place is a gem, and not to be missed.
- Tom CoatesJuly 28, 2018Strongly recommend the brunch. You choose several items from the menu. They’re all pretty small, so get the seven options. The pastries look great but are a bit tasteless so do the brunch every time
- Michael AldereteJanuary 4, 2019The breakfast platter with five items is more than enough for one appetite. Get the seven item platter and share with another person.
- Sandra CifoJanuary 21, 2019Fun design, pastries are good, but they need to use clean mugs. Def understaffed but very nice. Pricey, out of 12 different that we ordered only the meatballs and trout were worth it.
- Sandra CifoJanuary 21, 2019Nice peeps. Their bread is nice, wish they had a GF option to eat all the GF spreads. whats the point of offering if you don’t have a GF bread option to eat it with... you eat the spread with a spoon?
- Joachim MajholmDecember 14, 2019Everything is made from scratch, organic, seasonal, and farm friendly. Love that there is something new to explore every time as the menu changes daily.
- The smoked trout rilettes sandwich, the cinnamon bun. Finally: real Scandinavian open face sandwiches in the US.
- J JohnAugust 4, 2023Creative Scandinavian lunch menu, excellent whole grain rye bread and sandwiches. Lavender coffee is a must here.
- Evgeniy DankovtsevOctober 30, 2021Awesome delicious food, but the wait on a busy weekend day could be 1-1.5 hours, be prepared
- Josh WJune 16, 2019Poppy seed and almond danish perfectly balances sweet and savory. Great crunch without being excessively flaky
- Megan AllisonSeptember 27, 2018Delicious food, friendly people. Great smørrebrod. The Abba poster in the bathroom is a huge mood.
- Dan CroakJanuary 16, 2020"Brunch board": breads, eggs, optional meat or fish. Extremely tasty, only place like it in SF
- Steve SavageJuly 3, 2023A truly hideous experience – overly sweet pastries; tasteless porridge; stale, super-chewy bread and moldy fish. On top of that, the service is slow and rude. Take your fine food cravings elsewhere!
- Jesse LashFebruary 27, 2020Food was ok but their kitchen was not set up to handle the weekend traffic when we visited. Over 45 minutes from ordering to receiving our food.
- Jiexi CaoJune 20, 2018The bread is delicious, but their service is extremely slow for a casual spot. Their cappuccino is mediocre; just wish they carry Heart to resell. 😕
- Please. These gays. They’re trying to murder me. 🥐🥨👨🍳🏳️🌈🔪
- CoreyJune 24, 2018Painfully slow service, and dining area is uncomfortably packed tight. Clearly lots of growing pains for an otherwise welcome addition for casual Scandinavian
