As most of the beaches on the Algarve coast, Praia de Benagil is stunning. It’s surrounded by beautiful cliffs and the water is so clear. You can take a boat trip and explore the famous Benagil cave.
This beach is quite touristic because it’s located in a village, but still beautiful.
Praia dos Caneiros is a semi-long beach with a giant rock sticking up from nowhere. It was very calm when we got there in the afternoon.
This beach is hands down the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. It’s a tiny beach and you have to walk down a lot of stairs before you can reach it, but if you manage to get a space, it’s so worth it.
The ultimate surf beach, dramatic scenery and good waves. It’s located just below the cliffs of Sagres, also known as The End of the World.
This beach is really cool, it’s situated at the mouth of the Rio de Seixe and right on the border between the Algarve and the Alentejo.
In the small town of Vila Nova de Milfontes, where the Rio Mira meets the Atlantic Ocean, there’s a gorgeous horse shoe beach. The beach almost disappears with the tide so go there around lunch.
