I ranks this as NYC's best of the best. Yes the pastrami is amazing but, try having it as a Rubin Sandwich!! Now that is heaven!!!!

Worth a visit but I don’t think I’d go back. The vibe is manic. Pastrami sandwich was very good but not out of this world. I think it’s just a fun one time experience to come here.

Great experience and lovely (if rushed) staff, but the prices are a total rip off. Worth sitting down to avoid the scrum at the counter.

You've got to get the pastrami sandwich with fries! IMO one sandwich is enough for two, it's so big!

Ahhhh, Katz's. Where Harry met Sally. And where we met pastrami. Giant piles of juicy brisket coated with spices and dripping with goodness barely held together by a couple of slices of rye bread.

Pastrami is a masterpiece. I d suggest swiss cheese to add some other flavor to the sandwich ( it is a tough one to eat, not everyone's stomach can handle this meat) Pickles is a good sidekick.
