Mixed Plate (teri beef, mahi mahi fish and fried chicken with 1 scoop of macaroni salad and 2 scoops of rice.) Along with the Mixed Plate lunch, I had a large Pepsi (or Coke) drink with it.
Taco Tuesdays (special): fish and chicken tacos with Jarritos lime flavor soda and (regular, not the special Mexican) Coke.
Tried Homemade Potstickers and Heineken (daily drink special) on Wednesday night ! Excellent gourmet (gyoza, won tons), pool playing, darts throwing and Karaoke singing.
Used to be Dixie Grill (I think) and Tio's. I went there for happy hour. You had to walk upstairs to use the restroom. Lots of TV screens ! Great times - the new "Slammers."
I had FUN at the BT concert last night - it was cramped like a elevator with Asian and Caucasian people from the Manoa suburbs; it was my first time there - it helped being small in that club.
Furikake Ahi and Loco Moco are pretty good. Fish & chips plate is probably the worst I've had on the island. Poke is so-so; much better at fresh catch

Makaha Beach Park is famous for monster swells in the winter, generally the water is safe for most. However, when the surf is large, the water here can be hazardous for novice swimmers and surfers.
