- Wilson Favre-DelerueAugust 30, 2016Absolutely deserving of its Michelin 1*. Isaan cuisine with switches for California produce, exceptional flavours all round. The $55/person tasting menu is a steal and demonstrates Chef Pim's finesse.
- The best authentic and ambitious Thai food in SF. It reeks of fish sauce from around the corner in the best way. Standouts: mushroom hor mok (curry terrine) and khao soi (chicken curry noodles).
- Matthew KamenMarch 26, 2015One if the best Thai restaurants I've been to. The Yaowaraj Noodle dish is awesome. And check out the Pretty Hot Wings appetizer.
- Eunice WJune 2, 2017Really authentic Thai flavor, great place in SF downtown. Curry mousse w/mushroom was so tasty, hands down best surprising dish. Green curry rabbit was my second fav 🔥! Oh, and it has 1 Michelin ⭐️
- Staff PicksFebruary 25, 2016Recently given a Michelin star, this joint is not your average Thai restaurant. With some incredible dishes and tongue tingling spices, you won't look at Thai food the same again. Read more
- Guillaume R.October 2, 2015A little difficult to find as the entrance is on the South-East corner of Mason and Ellis. Extremely flavorful and delicious, lots of great beers and bold flavors. The Namprik Long Rua is to die for.
- Jon B.March 6, 2018Total gem of a restaurant tucked away in the Parc 55 hotel. Awesome Thai food that does not shy away from the spice. I especially loved the pork belly, calamari, beans, and rabbit curry!
- Emily LMarch 23, 2018That pork belly... best I’ve ever had. Everything was delicious, definitely worth the Michelin star they have. Friendly service, good portions and an inventive take on Thai food.

- Jeanne LaddApril 30, 2016The roasted eggplant appetizer is delicious and don't miss out on the panang veggie curry. The menu is marked for vege dishes and it means true vegetarian, no fish sauce on those dishes 😋
- Chris H.December 2, 2017This place has a Michelin Star yet it's comfy and casual. Memorable dishes include the green rabbit curry and the chicken wings. Definitely get the chicken wings.
- Vicki ChauvinJuly 24, 2015Nam tuk beans are delicious, pad kee Mao with pork-a seasonal dish was so good and yum Kai dos with duck and egg was outstanding. Didn't have room for the black rice pudding. Great quick service
- Adam RedstoneMay 23, 2018Amazing everything! Got vegan salad and drunken noodles. Rice pudding dessert pretty good too - not too sweet for a decadent ending. Sat at the counter and service was top notch. Thanks Kin Khao!
- Joshua ChanOctober 18, 2015Looking for an upscale Thai fusion restaurant with booze? Look no further. Wide selection of wine, beer, and cocktail to go with their wings, ribs, and pork belly. Try the fish if you're more than 2!
- J CrowleyJuly 27, 2016Pad Kee Mao was hyped as their best dish. But IMHO it was more heat than flavor. It's good, but nothing to wake your dead grandma about.
- Steven HFebruary 14, 2017Excellent non-traditional Thai meal with quality ingredients slightly let down by the little things, which add up: Like the $5 Thai iced tea being a glass of ice with a gulp of liquid
- NanaSeptember 3, 2016Omg what a delicious find! Thanks Michelin! Pretty hot wings YAS! Som Tam was as good as what you get in Thailand(yes I've been 🙄) curry noodle soup 😋🌶 get it! Overall 👌🏻food
- Diana ArzFebruary 6, 2017Intense flavors. Authentic, spicy, oily, delicious, not "Americanized" & not customizable. Service wasn't outstanding, had to try to get attention, but overall interesting experience, worth trying🔥.
- Matt MayoJuly 10, 2017The port belly is served in an iron pot with a pig on the handle. The good at this spot is eautiful, spicy, and not to miss if you love Thai food!

- Nico PitneyAugust 21, 2014Special, complex flavors in every dish. Loved the duck egg salad and the veggie stir-fried noodles. Squid dish was so unique -- very strong citrus paired with very strong spice. Julep cocktail was ok
- Diana RestrepoMarch 30, 2016The lunch special is awesome here. You get to try a little bit of everything. Ribs and curry with rabbit meatballs are both exquisite.
- One of my favorite restaurants in sf. Equally good for eating around at the bar, or going family style with a big group. The drunken noodles are a must if they're on the menu!
- Lauren MacNovember 4, 2015Michelin star restaurant with no frills -- for the beans and squid dishes, you must love spicy food! Don't skip the rice throughout the meal. Black cod curry was my favorite.
- Jong Hwan KimAugust 2, 2018Gotta reserve ahead to skip the wait here!!! This place offers real good cocktails and good curry, of course.
- Garry TanJanuary 6, 2019The curries are always good. Noodles are also worth it. Beware the spice. They do it up there.

- jonathan gettingerMay 28, 2014Yum Yai salad boasts an array raw, cooked, and tempura-fried vegetables laced with an umami-heavy, sweet-sour-salty dressing made with fish sauce and Pim's grandmother's chili jam.
- It's got a Michelin star for a reason. Get the pork belly, any noodle or actually anything. Also, the bartenders know what they're doing

- Hari RaghavanAugust 13, 2016Totally deserves its Michelin star. Food and cocktails and all around experience - excellent
- Chris EdwardsAugust 7, 2014Refreshingly modern take on Thai fare. The dry ribs, rabbit green curry and crab noodles were outstanding. Don't go expecting a massive plate of Pad Thai though—it isn't that sort of place.
- heidi harmanJuly 21, 2015This is an Asian restaurant extra ordinaire worth an extra visit for the well prepared tastes and swedish furniture. Theres so much love here.
