Cool place with super fast and friendly service. Try quinoa with yogurt and fruit. Soy milk available. Very cute old fashioned bookstore upfront.

This bookstore has great, diverse selections of literature. Every time I leave this place I've got books jammed under both arms. This is definitely a go to bookstore in DC for literature lovers.

The Bloody Mary is made with sriracha sauce. Tasty. Nice spice. No garnish, but the simplicity is nice on a lazy Sunday brunch.

The 'sushi' (really, sashimi with a side of rice, spinach, and avocado) was fantastic. Nice and light--great for a late dinner.

Great Key Lime Pie. Peach Cobbler rocks. Ice cream is poorly sweetened. Avoid all Nutella product, dry and lifeless. Also Mocha Ice is mixed ice and mocha powder. Eh.

The butternut squash ravioli is delicious and they were playing the Best of Morrissey when I was there. Wonderful. Books and food are two of my favorite things in life and they both thrive here.

Crab cake pasta is amazing! Triple chocolate cake is delicious too. Very cool place with a bookstore, bar, and restaurant - all are separate from one another, preserving its distinct atmosphere.

The crab cakes are small but tasty and packed with meat. The mussels are soft and buttery. And the book selection is excellent. I wish I could read the whole store!

I went into the original Kramerbooks & & when it first opened and asked "Booze&Books&Food -- what more do I need?" They displayed a message for a while, "If we had a shower, you'd never leave."
