Lunch is fantastic. The pre fixe menu is hard to beat. I went back three times over my week vacation in NYC because this place is THAT GOOD. Order a glass (or three) of rosé with your lunch.

A cozy and low-key spot with an incredible selection of tasty crepes, salads, soups, desserts and coffee. Their soups are truly out of this world! We love the Cream of Tomato and French onion soups.

I stumbled upon this place earlier this year. And what a find. Every time I'm in the city I make sure to stop. My favorite is the lasagna made with crepes. Divine. So are the burgers and the croques

Best French restaurant in the U.S. Keep an eye out for Monsieur Picot down stairs. Get a Pre Fixe menu w some house wine & the chocolate mousse. The Soup a l'Oignon is the best you'll ever have.

Came w 3 children and thought it would be a disaster but they were extremely accommodating and put on a movie on upstairs for us. Food was excellent - had the steak sandwich and French toast.

Get the French onion soup. Cute French-feeling spot, good lighting, busy but not loud. Perfect for a quiet, affordable lunch after MoMa.

The steak au poivre is not their strength. The steak does not stand on its own. You need to dip it in the sauce to get a tasty bite. The accompanying French fries on the hand, are addictive.

We had the prix fixe with fish and it was amazing. Service was slowish but it was a great little place for a dinner that was delicious but not expensive.

Hidden gem in the city. Best onion soup I've ever had. I buy bottles of the salad dressing. Ask for extra dressing and dip the bread into it. #noms

Charming and quaint French bistro where you must try their Cobb Salad, topped with gorgonzola and cherry tomatoes or a bowl of their warmingly delicious Soupe A L’oignon.

the caesar salad is amazing. incredibly CRISP romaine hearts are sliced long-ways and served nearly whole.. maybe that's what makes it feel substantial. that or the fact that the salad is HUGE.

The Creme Brulee and the Onion Soup are a must! Also, the downstairs is cuter than the upstairs (where they seem to sit larger parties).

While the French onion soup is good, the other food is middling to average and the service is some of the worst in the city. Even in a neighborhood with not much choice, this one's a definite miss.

Really good basic French home style food. The crepes are to die for. Latte is super small, skip it and try Starbucks around the corner, but don't skip the soups as a starter.
