Got here on Friday at 6am, the security like is extremely long, expect to spend over 40 min in the line
Nothing quite like flying into LaGuardia at night. The view of NYC is simply amazing.
Cheap and quick transportation: M60 bus to/from Astoria Boulevard.- The airport doesn't open until 4:15a.m. don't get here any earlier
Terminal B has not been renovated in possibly 50 years. Stay in the food court as long as possible to minimize your time in this awful terminal.

I miss AirTran when it wasn't southwest. Skip the hassle just fly Delta.

Delta shuttle BOS-LGA has Sam Adams on board, no charge. Just have to ask.
It looks like you are about to land in the water. But typically you don't.
Worst. Airport. Ever. Layout is a nightmare, circa 1990s. Security lines are hellish. Nice people, though.
Spirit is the worst airline you'll fly in America. Be prep to pay $45 (each way) for any carry-on larger than a fanny pack. Explains the 45 min boarding time for a national flight.

Always always always LATE... and if it snows they only have one de-icing car... so more than 4 hours late
Bring a sweater or blanket for Gate A1 at Continental, it's an ice box.
If you need wheelchairs here, allow yourself extra time - there is no system and they wil
AA baggage claim is horrible there are no signs above the carousels. On board they will announce a carousel and when the bags come out it is a different carousel.
Delta Terminal is quite nice. The others are horrendous. Avoid them if you can.
7 open ticket check in counters 1 TSA agent. Ugh.
If you have the money, spring for a cab. Otherwise you will wait two hours for a shuttle. Lesson learned.
More food options avail in the US airways terminal. Reminds me of a T5 at JFK but not as nice.

Taxi lines can take forever - arrange for car service, or prepare to wait, and wait, and wait...
