Great date spot, tagliatelle is on point! Scallops were ok, crispy potatoes were salty but good. Go for the pasta, won't disappoint

The pasta itself is amazing enough. Al dente and full of wheat flavor. only wish is the portion could be bigger....will definitely come back and try other dishes next time.

Already knew we loved it for dinner, but brunch blew us away. Can't believe we didn't try it earlier. The L'Artusi scramble with sausage and broccoli rabe was to die for.

Loved the service, ambience and the food. The mushroom starter was yummy and so were the spaghetti and mushroom pasta. Desserts, including the olive cake, were very average though

The beef tartare is a must! We enjoyed everything that we ordered. My Italian roommate claims this to be the best Italian restaurant in the city.

Try to score a seat at the kitchen table for front row seats to the open air kitchen! Must try the roasted mushroom appetizer served with pancetta, ricotta salata + topped w a delicious “runny” egg

Love this place. The entire menu is amazing, but top choices include: beef carpaccio, the mushrooms with fried egg, and the hanger steak.

Food is amazing. Great wine selection. Best bets: beef carpaccio, escolar (sooo good), spaghetti (Order it!), roasted mushrooms, orecchiette, charred octopus, roasted chicken, hangar steak.

Order sea scallop crudo, butter lettuce salad with hazelnuts and Gorgonzola and a pasta of the day. Finish with homemade ricotta and berry jam. #divine

Favorites Italian resto in the city. Gabe Thompson doesn't disappoint with decedent pastas and tons of vegetarian options. Sit at the chef's counter.

The spaghetti here is my single favorite dish in all of New York. It seems simple, but don't let it fool you --- it's truly amazing.

Roasted mushrooms are the signature dish and they don't disappoint. Brussel sprouts are excellent. Hanger steak is great as well.

Favorite Italian meal in the city. Get the fluke ceviche, roasted mushrooms w/egg, chicories salad, and bucatini or tagliatelle pasta. Try the Lambrusco by the glass too.

The Garganelli (mushroom ragu, on the left) was soooo good. While the pasta was deliciously chewy, Cacio E Pepe on the right was way too salty.

Heard about how amazing the food is here, and at my first visit, it did not disappoint. However, beware: we were charged for an amuse-bouche that, when served, was allegedly "compliments of the chef"!

The gnocchi with lamb ragu made sweet lust to my tastebuds and I'll never forget it. Good whiskey selection and excellent cocktails will round out the party in your mouth.
