- Bitches Who BrunchMarch 7, 2017The real piece de resistance at this French bistro was the pancakes. Oh, those pancakes! They were crispy on the outside, melt-in-your-mouth fluffy on the inside, and don't even need the syrup. Read more
- Philipp NassMarch 6, 2018Ok, here is the deal for brunch for two: get a dish you want and the pancakes (they take 60 mins). While waiting for the pancakes you share the first dish and once you‘re done the pancakes arrive!
- If lobster bisque is on the menu, ORDER IT. You'll want to bathe in it. You'll want to spend long romantic candlelit evenings with it. You'll want to take it home and introduce it to your family.
- Emily WilsonFebruary 21, 2016Get a Bloody Mary and get something with fries to go with it. It's a popular spot for brunch, but the space is huge so you likely won't have to wait for too long.
- Honestly the best French food I have had in the city. Sit at the bar and order as much food as you can. Go early, 7ish. Then check out the back room with a fireplace.
- Marco VoormolenMay 12, 2015Cool place. Nice ambiance and good breakfast dishes. Esprcially the savoury dishes are great. We also tried the pancakes: n they're huge portions, but come with relatively few berries.
- Jenny CuiApril 12, 2016The food is amazing and the cocktails are good too. If you're here for brunch, get the duck confit hash! The only downside was that the hostess was incompetent and wasn't very nice...
- Boris JonesApril 8, 2015Some of the best value brunch in Williamsburg with some of the best vibes, there is always a wait at Le Barricou, and it is always worth it. The cuisine is French, so obviously it is buttery & great. Read more
- Monica ChamblessAugust 28, 2016One of the best brunches near by! Definitely make a reservation on OpenTable if possible. Often long weekend waits. Classic french dishes, amazing cocktails... Walkable, but worth a ~$6 uber ride!
- Erin McCueMay 31, 2017Pancakes take 30 minutes, but they're worth the wait. Huge serving with some kind of berry butter. Pancake coma to follow.
- Glaelis Sierra GomezMarch 22, 2015Best Croque Madame I've ever had!!! We ordered a plate of pancakes for 4 people and we still left one of them! They're huge! Definitely made to share! One of the best brunch I've ever had!!! :)
- Ira BJanuary 9, 2015A smart man once said,"pancakes are my new girlfriend",and that man is completely right. As a 6' 4" 220lb man, I had tough time finishing these. Not only that. But this place is super affordable.
- MischaMay 31, 2015Great place for brunch, spacious and well decorated. The Duck confit will blow your senses, no mistake about this, and juices are actually fresh squeezed, something I always appreciate
- I love this place, always will. Great ambience, delicious food, personal nostalgia... But they are getting cheaper and cheaper in their food portions, a teaspoon of hollandaise sauce does not cut it!
- Shannon KingettJuly 2, 2013Some of the best food I've had in this city. Everything was amazing. Highly recommend the pork belly, coq au vin, and chocolate cake! So happy to have such amazing food in my neighborhood!
- Christine LFebruary 4, 2017The pâté sandwich was on point! Pancakes take about 45 min. They're good, but dense and super filling. I recommend getting another as a main and sharing the pancakes with your table.
- Peter WuJune 28, 2015The potatoes that come with the eggs Norwegian are out of this world - soft and flavorful on the inside and crispy on the outside.
- Desirée MacDonaldJune 9, 2015Such a great brunch spot in Brooklyn! The staff is fantastic and the food is incredible. Have a large party? No problem! There is a huge room in the back. 👌🏻
- Mara LecocqDecember 6, 2014Great French style simple comfort food. The chicken burger was DELICIOUS: melted Camembert on a juicy piece of chicken in brioched burger buns.
- Uber NYCApril 5, 2013Stop by for French brunch classics executed to perfection (at a reasonable price!). Combine that with a killer Bloody Mary and a cozy, comfortable vibe - you really can't go wrong.
- Kate WillskyFebruary 26, 2018This place has great food and charming decor, but not sure it’s worth the wait. Also the service is spotty and they are literally always out of the croissant sandwich. Just make more croissants guys!!
- Olivia SlutskySeptember 17, 2016The coq au vin was tender & very flavorful. My friend loved the trout and the atmosphere was hard to beat. Definitely will be back to try their brunch!
- Angelica TorresMay 31, 2017Pancakes are heavenly and huge. The Norwegian was very good and so was the Duck Confeti. Worth the wait in line.
- Bitches Who BrunchOctober 15, 2015The Bitches say: A. Great ambiance for brunch, to-die-for pancakes, and a killer Bloody Mary all at an affordable price. We just wish the service wasn’t so overburdened. Read more
- SummerNovember 19, 201730-40 minute wait on a Sunday at noon. The pancakes take an hour to make, so you have to order it as dessert. Kinda ridiculous. But worth it! Duck confit hash is 👌🏼
- Mullica ZudsiriDecember 10, 2018Great location, there is a lot of seating all the way through the back. Good for groups. All the food is good anytime of day but especially brunch.
- PANCAKES. I recommend ordering one for the table and sharing because it is heavier than your avg pancake. Also eat while piping hot!
- emily chenJune 19, 2016Brunch here. Order the pancakes right when you sit down since they take about an hour. Duck confit hash is 🔥.
- ThomasSeptember 27, 2014Good service! Try the escargots, they are sooo good! Same for the lamb. Just DON'T eat a burger here please (!), they're good but it's a french restaurant, not an American ;) !
- The mussels selection is amazing and so delightfully tasty. Try the mould provencial (my personal favorite) with a glass of single malt scotch whiskey (LAPHROAIG) and you'll be steps away from heaven!
- Vicky SunMarch 10, 2016The bone marrow and liver pâté are a must for dinners. For brunch get the duck confit hash. Don't overload on the bread while you're waiting.
- Kate HindApril 11, 2015Really good brunch spot. Some of the portions are huge! Pancakes are great but they really are cakes!
- I live this place!!! Almost close to authentic French restaurant. I love the back room! It takes u away from New York( literary. Check it out). Brunch is phenomenal. Huge pancakes ! This is a gem

- That GirlJanuary 22, 2019Brunch central. It’s busy but doesn’t feel it with their solid service. Croque Madam and burgers are faves here. Vegetarian options are good. Vegans are limited but can make it work.
- Graham VoslooJanuary 14, 2018Cozy atmosphere and tasty brunch food. Spinach and chevre cheese croissant won the day.

- Ya Fen WongJanuary 2, 2017Cozy atmosphere! Pancakes is a must. Supposedly it takes 40 minutes to make but so worth it.
- The Baked pancakes are amazing and not to be missed. If you're a fan of bloody Mary's try their version which includes a shrimp cocktail.
- TiffanyMarch 12, 2016Cozy French restaurant that serves some kickass brunch food. Try the duck confit hash!
- Rebecca YiJuly 11, 2016Get the lamb! Back really opens up and is very cute. Oysters were very fresh. Pork chop was good as well, but the lamb was def the winner.
- Tee ChadzSeptember 9, 2012Prepare to wait for brunch on Sunday. Totally worth it. The eggs Benedict were cooked perfectly and the salad went well with it. The bloody Marys are EXCELLENT!!!
- Chet ManciniJanuary 11, 2015One of the best brunches in the area. Pancakes are insanely good and huge. Restaurant overall has amazing value.
- The new chef "Soto" is banging. Everything is a lot better (Barricou had always been good). Lots of pallets "orgasm"! The creme brûlée is excellent. Everything is more refined, better quality! <3
- Sally RichardsonApril 1, 2016Great atmosphere. Pancakes are a 45 minute wait - worth it but too much for one person!
- Literally everything is amazing. I'm partial to the duck confit hash.
- One of the best brunches in the neighborhood - solid bloody mary, and both of the croissant sandwiches are aces
