- Nick AndlingerJanuary 23, 2017Incredible neighborhood spot. French bistro classics done right. Get the French onion soup, escargot, duck confit, steak frite, crusted skate wing. Wine is priced well.
- Mara LecocqOctober 28, 2014Super legit. Coming from a Parisian. No BS fusion menu here (btw I love fusion menus but it's nice to have the real thing once in a while). Things like confit de canard and souris d'agneau. Love!
- Augustin GalleOctober 17, 2018I had the salmon as entree. It was delicious! Came with a cabbage purée. Perfect size. As désert the tarte tatin. Very cute restaurant too and nice service I’m sure it helps that I do speak French.
- Dan PyatetskyNovember 20, 2019Great spot. Duck pate was very good and the duck confit was my favorite I’ve had in NY. Cooked perfectly and the acid from the mustard sauce is perfect.
- Eaters HeavenMarch 13, 2016I've been here twice. Food has been very good both times. Pricing is average. Parking is easy, right in front or up the block. Service is standoffish. They should check themselves. Duck was a must!
- This is a little gem of a Bistrot in Murray Hill. Escargots in parsleyed garlic butter!! Don't miss the steak frites, great portion of hangar steak and perfectly crispy fries. J'aime ce restaurant!!!
- Vicky SunMarch 18, 2014Authentic setting and excellent music paired with reasonable prices for generous portions. The escargots in garlic and herbs are absolutely fantastic.
- Candace ChangAugust 14, 2014I kind of consider myself a steak connoisseur. And this has got to be one of my favorite steaks I've had in the city. Can't go wrong with the Bistro Steak and Frites!
- Dan PyatetskyNovember 20, 2019Great spot. Duck pate was very good and the duck confit was my favorite I’ve had in NY. Cooked perfectly and the acid from the mustard sauce is bomb.
- Authentic no frills French food just done right. This is our goto neighborhood French bistro. I'd recommend the affordable brunch or the mussels or steak frites
- Soo Jin HurAugust 11, 2014Tried escargots like everybody said, very good. Steak tartare has a big portion and rainbow trout was exceptionally good too.
- Kong TseMarch 4, 2016This is one of my favorites places. I was a fan of the original french bistro hat was here previously. The new place is a worthy successor
- Meg FarmerNovember 23, 2014Good deal for brunch in murray hill. Reasonably priced prefix menu for $16. Poached eggs with salmon gravlax was tasty.
- Kevin YienJuly 12, 2015Adorable, cozy French restaurant. Excellent meat and fish. Get the creme brûlée for dessert!
- Jennifer SApril 1, 2013A small gem in Murray Hill. The beet salad with goat cheese and the roasted half chicken were both delicious.
- agnes chanAugust 3, 2012Cozy and delicious. Steak frites are awesome here. Roasted artichoke salad a perfect appetizer. Great, casual bistro.
- Lucinda FortinNovember 23, 2014The food was amazing. The service perfect. Nothing wrong to say about it. Just try it yourself!
- Delicious steak frites and affordable bottles of wine. One of our favorite neighborhood spots.
- LauraMarch 22, 2013Beet salad with goat cheese is divine. Escargot is very garlicky (and therefore wonderful).
- The food, the service and the atmosphere was great! Get the creme brûlée, warm top chilled custard, perfect!
- Leslie TAugust 6, 2013$12.95 Prix-Frix brunch special on Sundays! Cocktails are at an additional charge but decently priced!
- Pearl HouApril 22, 2012Good brunch stuff, including the fries. Everybody has to be there before you can get a table.
- Carly MAugust 24, 2012Escargot is a MUST! The salmon with tabouli and cucumber mint dressing was amazing.
- Kenneth TiongDecember 20, 2012Decent steak frites though a bit chewy. 4/5. Good iles flottantes. Touch of salty caramel perks up a pasty meringue. 4.5/5
- Andrew GreenDecember 17, 201112.95 for brunch plus mimosa or sangria. Cute little French restaurant will be coming back often
- Elizabeth JourdanFebruary 9, 2013Floating island absolutely delicious. We discussed taking a second one to go!
- Natsuko UNovember 19, 2014Service is not so great. At weekend brunches, you must eat up fast otherwise they will kick you out rather rudely. If you want to enjoy conversation and relax over brunch don't go there.
