Hop Aboard " The Frying Pan" (or any tour boat): You have a lot of options, though the Frying Pan allows you to get drunk and get the boat experience, without actually moving. Read more

Sit on top of the boat and have a pitcher of sangria. The view and ambiance are all worth the slightly high prices.

Don't visit on weekends during Summer, it'll be mobbed. Avoid crowds by going on weeknights. Great views of The Hudson; Explore old ships (if they're unlocked).

Beer and atmosphere are amazing! Sangria is gross - too sweet using terrible wine

Causal outdoor boat area. Gets very busy though, and can be tough to get a table. Everything is self-service here.

Summer drinks on a boat! Come for lunch - the mussels are delicious, but stay away from the veggie burger.

A must frequent when the weather gets hot, you can spot young professionals taking the day off with a cold brew. The lightship is an adventure in itself.

A boat that's been converted into a bar/restaurant. It's a cool place to grab a drink after strolling along the river walk.

Great views. Pricey drinks, but that's to be expected. It felt like I was in vacation at a beach, not in NYC.

Such a fun place to explore. Nice way to end an evening of gallery strolling - be sure to make it there before sunset for a beautiful view. At night, you might even see stars.

There's nothing better than spending an impromptu Sunday afternoon here, waiting on a long queue to meet crass bouncers before you enter a sea of 'preppy' (not the Zack Morris kind). A+ for the view!

If it weren't for the bros, I'd probably love it here. Alas, there are too many Lacoste-clad dudes toting buckets of Corona.

While this may not be this bar's maiden voyage you're definitely going down. Not in the kinky-cool-back-of-the-taxi way, more so because of the sublime sun vs alcohol chemistry at play.Wear a raincoat
