Roy Charles: Quaint & beautiful, wall to wall tourists in the city. Once you get outside & discover the seashore & seafood then you will fall in love with PEI. Every turn in the road is a picture postcard.
Roy Charles: Jasper is like Banff but without all the tourists. It has mountain lakes and trails, hot springs and of course animals. A photographer and outdoors-person's dream.
Roy Charles: Cathedral Grove on the way is worth the trip in itself. When you get to the coast the water is so cold and the sand is so hot it steams. See seals frolic and hike in rain forest splendor.
Roy Charles: Lots of wineries. Good food and a great day trip from my home in Guelph or Toronto. Niagara-on-the-Lake has many quaint shops and of course there is the Falls, itself. So much wine and so little time.
Roy Charles: I could go to Quebec every year. There is so much to see and do. The people are friendly and you can get by without French, but they appreciate it when you try. Lots of history, shopping and food.
Roy Charles: I only chose this because it is representative of the north where I lived for 5 years. Yellowknife is the hub and a great place to jump off to see the northern lights or fish and eat bannock.
