- Fatou JabbieMay 7, 2011Little Thai Basil is the place to go for super awesome thai food, great staff and atmosphere. And great for having conversation without loosing your voice, compare to places on 3rd Ave.
- Irene YMarch 13, 2013Get the lunch deal. Choice of a soup or salad. Both are good, I prefer soup. Get the crab shrimp spring rolls over the dumplings!! Pad se eew/ pineapple fried rice are good main dishes. Thai iced tea
- Jessica AngelesApril 11, 2013Hands down my favorite Thai spot. Their lunch specials are such a steal: $8 for soup/salad, steamed dumplings/crab rolls, AND a full sized entree. Super cute and classy place too.
- Love this place. Delicious pad see ew, tamarind fish, curries, soups... But vegetarians beware, not all their "Vegetable" menu items are vegetarian!
- Great Thai food that’s super reasonable (plus BYOB!). Can’t go wrong with the Green curry and pad Thai!
- Sandra RubinchikSeptember 1, 2014This place lets you BYO up to two bottles for free. Any more, and there's a corkage fee. (You can try to be slick, but a double bottle usually counts as two.)
- TomJune 4, 2015Food is flavorful, portions are good, and prices are reasonable. BYOB, first bottle is corkage fee-free.
- Jason SotomayorSeptember 10, 2013Solid little place a friend suggested after a doug benson podcast taping on a monday night. Great food, good prices, cant ask for much more.
- CompassMay 2, 2014Third Avenue is ripe with Thai joints, but Little Basil fancies up authentic dishes with dine-in and take-out options.
- Rahadyan SastrowardoyoDecember 23, 2011My girlfriend had green curry with chicken, I had massamun curry with tofu and we shared fried bananas with coconut ice cream and chocolate sauce.
- The lunch special is insane and the pad see ew is delicious.
- Dex WoodMarch 21, 2012You must have the calamari. I love the way it was seasoned; unlike any I've had before
- Humayun RashidSeptember 24, 2012If you're looking for an affordable night out and happen to be in Gramercy check this spot out.
- Dan ValenNovember 20, 2013I'm not sure how this hasn't been mentioned yet, but... Little Basil is BYOB. You can pop across the street to D'Agostino's if you're in a bind.
- They play great music here! Nothing like an order of pad see ew accompanied by a fine tune from the cure, blur, or joy division!
- Kate WesthuisJanuary 4, 2012Make sure you get the spice tray or specify spicy. Three stars. Overall, good but ordinary.
- If you want to break out of pad thai and pad see eiu, try the pad krapaw or duck noodle soup.
- Sarah E.July 12, 2013Tried this restaurant for the first time tonight--ordered takeout and found 2 hairs in the appetizer. Foul. Will not be back.
