When we're shopping at Chelsea Market, we always have to stop in here for a lobster roll. Start it off with a cup of their amazing New England Clam Chowder. Then get lobster to go to have at home!

The remodeled Lobster Place keeps its classic appeal while adding a proper sushi bar and soup stand. Don't miss the live lobster bath in the back featuring daily fresh lobster from Maine and Canada.

Amazing authentic place! Huge variety of seafood and oysters! You should try Kumamoto oyster! Best one I've tried in my life. This place is great to try a bit of a huge variety of seafood.

New England clam chowder is exactly what I had in Boston! Crab cake burger is also a good thing: expensive, but good!

Lobster Place is a very popular combination of seafood store and "restaurant." Lobsters here are excellent and in the afternoon the wait is very short. The spicy steamed shrimps are also delicious🍤

Literally seafood heaven- the fresh shellfish on display are incredibly fresh and varied. However, I had the sliders sampler (lobster roll, lump crab and jumbo shrimp sliders) and was not impressed.

The lobster roll is to die for. It has a hint of lemon. Which makes it taste really fresh. Totally different than Luke’s lobster which tastes pure and buttery. Wouldn’t know which one is my favourite.

This place is awesome. A huge live lobster cooked right before your eyes and a huge variety of oysters. Everything on display. Their lobster bisque is great. It's a must go to place when in NYC.

The lobster roll was so good! Perfect size and temperature. The oysters were super fresh. Shrimp cocktail was average. I recommend the lobster roll and the tons of oysters that are available there.

For the locals, get the fresh salmon to go. The back has really good chowders. New england clam chowder and scallop and bacon is pretty good.

The Maine- and Connecticut-style lobster rolls are both delicious. They’re on the smaller side, so try one of each if you’ve got a big appetite. 🦞

Got the sea urchin + a bunch of raw oysters & ate at the Raw Bar standing up. also got the yellowtail scallion sushi which I wasn't a huge fan of. no place to sit down. Fresh seafood. Lots of options.

Their lobster rolls are really delicious! A bit crowded due to tourists but if you're a foodie, it's definitely worth trying! There's something for everybody (unless you hate seafood of course)

Pro: the lobster in the lobster roll is fresh & you can tell. Con: the place is always packed, eating comfortable won't be an option. You can get it in a lunch box that's also good!

Just head straight for the soups and happily pour the savory lobster bisque all over your body. Rinse. Repeat. Also, great selection of fresh shellfish, sushi, and others. Did I mention soup?

Lobster tastes like a dream. Selection of oysters in the raw bar is totally worth the money. Sushi are kinda overpriced, but fresh and delicious.

My favorite spot in Chelsea for cheap, fresh takeout sushi for lunch! Soups are awesome and you can never go wrong with a lobster roll. The oyster raw bar is a great new addition.

The lobster roll is a combination of a buttery bun and really fresh lobster that works beautifully. And you can also take it to go and eat it at the highline, that has a great view : )

Fabulous place! The lobster is even better with a glass of white wine from the place next door. Make sure you ask nicely to eat/drink in the hall and return your plastic trays and wine glasses. Enjoy!

Great selection of seafood, particularly the oysters. Their pre-packed sushi isn't bad but opt for made to order instead. I usually go for chirashi.
