emma bDecember 18, 2013Now they decided you need a pound or euro for a trolley. Not the first accessible thing in my bag after being abroad! trolley shortage here in gatwick or just another inconvenience for passengers??
Good airport, but if you travel late at night, it would be difficult to find smth to eat :(
New toilets are amazing in the south terminal. Big, clean and smell lush! 😍
In the south terminal there is a nice sit down area with cool leather chairs.
They revamped the security screening so it's actually pretty efficient now.
The last easyjet flight from Edinburgh goes to the South Terminal but because it is posted as North Terminal they have to bus you, every time. Thought that's what the shuttle was for?

Trains also go to St.Pancras in little over half an hour and aren't even that expensive. Just make sure you get the faster connection.
If you're just changing trains, come get a coffee or drink and pretend you're going on holiday
Be careful when taking batteries with you on your flight, either in the device or in a special container.

If you intend to take the gatwick express. Don't. Take the quick southern rail service its 50% cheaper and gets you into victoria 4 mins slower !!

For quick and cheap: McDonalds upstairs. For overpriced: Nandos upstairs. Don't go to gates until need to, nothing there.
Don’t get the Gatwick express... just get a regular train to London Bridge then tube from there

Gatwick Exspress is a ripoff, buy a ticket for Southern Train + London Zones 1-6 for only 13£!! Buy it at the south terminal train station.

The new security is great just scan the barcode on your boarding pass and you're in!
