- This airport is a shed with airplanes attached. Absolutely no reason to spend longer than you need too here. Hoping for better once renovations have been completed.
- Adam TarcsiJuly 19, 2022Due to the heat the runaway melted... ("maintenance deficiency"?, but) the main problem is that the airport doesn't have a disaster plan or a plan b if they have to cancel flights. Total chaos.
- Bill BranniganOctober 8, 2021APCOA parking BANDITS, £1 per minute. £55 for waiting for less than 40 mins. The return flight cost £80, the London Zipcar £37. Like backlot parking spivs. Shame APCOA & Luton Airport.
- Marvel at the dystopian possibilities of the digitally projected staff.
- ŽivilėMay 11, 2016Limited free wifi (1 hour since you log in). However, the phone charging station is a plus: you can lock and charge your phone for free for 30min
- Plamen SpassovMay 8, 2012Not a first class airport! The Green Line busses are really good way to go to the city!
- It’s getting better ! Will be great when there is a direct train line to avoid the airport bus
- JoyboliciousJune 11, 2016Worst London airport ever. the cost from Luton to central London is at least 15.50 each way and queues to get out are ridiculous. Took an hour and you still have to take a shuttle to get a train. :(
- Kate Arkless GrayDecember 11, 2011Dear traveller, on behalf of Londoners and the UK in general, I sincerely apologise if this is your first taste of our country. Even us Brits hate the queues here. Sorry.
- Pelin DuraMay 2, 2016Small airport that has not that much to see or do.. it is far from the center you have to pay like 15 euros
- Dave SparksJune 26, 2011Massive queue through security and not much seating once you're through. Pay the £3 priority lane and head through security late
- There's one good thing about this airport: hopefully, you're leaving soon.
- Adhith ShanmugamAugust 13, 2014Please take the train to reach the town centre,it's faster than the shuttle bus.
- Ruth BurdenMarch 28, 2010you get one hour free parking in the mid term car park, so get the free shuttle bus and get picked up from there instead of the short term where you have to pay!
- Everyone goes to WH Smith just after security to buy water. Don't! Carry on into the concourse and go to Boots. Cheaper and shorter queues.
- What a drab airport...not a good experience if it's your first time in the UK. Fly to Heathrow it's so much more convenient.
- Maeve PatersonSeptember 6, 2013Would not choose this airport if I had a choice. Unfriendly, pricey. I was afraid to stand in one place for too long, invade I got a ticket. Trollies £2. Dropping someone off £2. Extra bag £40. Yuk.
- The airport is under constructions again, always plan at least 3 hours to get to this airport!
- Michal MoczulskiApril 21, 2018This airport it's a ripoff from an entrance to exit. Be prepared to pay for everything.
- Oliver HJune 2, 2013Best tip: spend more money and fly from somewhere else - incompetent staff, impossible access and every single breath costs money!!
- Worst airport, security staff tried steal my laptop &ipad but failed, then they dissapeared new person showed up and the stuff magically re appeared keep ur eye out they have a nice racket over here
- Not Heathrow, but efficient and close to northern London Burroughs
- Mark IronManRecordsAugust 26, 2010If you have 30 bags to get into terminal building, go to delivery barrier and press the intercom. If you reason with the "highly trained staff" they will open the barrier and let you in to drop off
- Adam ŠafránekAugust 6, 2014National Express to the city is the best option to get to London as comfortable as possible :)
- Lloyd JackmanMay 1, 2012REAL problems with queues, esp security. They were calling out a new flight every few minutes to rush them through. We very nearly missed our flight despiting giving ourselves 45 min!
- Johannes DriessenSeptember 20, 2014Make sure your train ticket includes the shuttle bus to Luton airport parkway station. The bus departs from the front of the airport
- MiklósApril 23, 2016After arrival, don't expect to be done with everything in half an hour. Especially with passport control.
- Jason P.August 22, 2011Be careful that you DO NOT take an East Midlands train if you got a First Connect ticket from easyJet. You'll wind up paying a fine fare. Stay aware of what you are boarding.
- FaghmaAugust 20, 2012Really pissed off that you can't take a coffee on the shuttle bus! Just bought a coffee and had to bin it
- 30 mins free parking at the mid stay car park (on right as you approach terminal by car). wait here while your incoming passengers negotiate baggage reclaim.
- Kiril PiskunovJuly 18, 2016Worst airport around London. You have to take a bus if you are taking a train or you have to be stuck in traffic on silly roundabouts if you are driving in. Always overcrowded with queues everywhere.
- One of the most depressing places on earth, and so very British.
- Gert de HeulNovember 20, 2013Don't use the internet, it is damn slow and is all the time disconnecting. This also counts for the paid version (spectrum)
- Caroline NJune 7, 2014Very poor operations management, under utilisation of staff and other resources. Queues(even when there aren't a lot if people), imperfect info from the staff, inconvenient parking
- Manda PandaAugust 7, 2016Worst airport ever - difficult to access from central London, flights unreliable, bad customs service. Don't fly from here, worthwhile paying more for a ticket to fly anywhere but here.
- Security staff generally rude and inefficient, although goid variety of eating places to choose from before and after security.
- Gerry WaldronAugust 30, 2018Buy rail ticket at Airport or in advance to avoid paying extra for the bus to Luton Airport Parkway railway station
