Pleasant park under Nusle bridge, with a great playground for little kids... & dad (or mum!) can have a beer & some chips.
My local večerka. Great place. Cheaper organic milk than the supermarket. I just wish it was open later. How about closing for a siesta and staying open later, folks?
The realest of Czech bars in the Old Town. Only one beer: if you have to ask, you're in the wrong place. Very little vegetarian food, which is 100% on brand.
This place is good. It's big, the view over the exhibition ground is amazing, & a la carte options tasty & generous. Favourably impressed.
Czechia's first Primark: so, cheap clothes from Bangladeshi sweatshops. Probably made by pre-pubescent children working 18 hours a day. If you're OK with that, go for it.
Some staff speak some English. Always busy, so they can be rushed and not super helpful, but they do try.

One of the biggest parks in Prague. Several restaurants and bars in the park, and playgrounds.Doesn't look like much, though. Mostly just trees and grass. But spatious, & biking & skating are OK.
Staff speak English and there's a menu in English. Vegetarian options quite good. Beer: only Pilsner Urquell, but exceptionally well-kept. Fast service, too.
