Globus is a valuable amenity. Some of the best selections of cheese, fresh fruit & veg, and vegetarian and vegan products in Czechia.
It's called a shopping centre here. It's really a few extra shops in the foyer of the Globus hypermarket. But it's all good.
A pleasant city park with water features, a playground, a bar/bistro and very handy for public transport.
One of the few places in Ladvi open in lockdown. Good big servings of strong glühwein! Just the thing on a cold day...
Handy for the metro - has its own entrance. Vegan, wholefood and health food shops, 2 bakeries, M&S and Billa.
A fairly small food & drink dept, although bigger than Letnany and more fresh items.
Big Billa, lots of choice, conveniently located and they are very helpful if you are shopping with a baby or toddler. Remember to weigh & label your fruit and veg before you go to the checkout.
Great little family place on the outskirts. Not a lot of vegetarian food but there is some. Some great spicy dishes too.
Very pleasant place for a stroll, handy for the shops and Cobolis brewery. Has its own swimming pool (& ice-rink in winter). Also close to the touching war memorial at the old rifle range.
Handy for changing trams, and also just a short walk from Vltavska on the Metro C line, which PID don't advertise. The view of the church is impressive, especially at night.
Chemist in the lobby of the polyclinic. Not much more to say. It's busy -- expect having to queue.
Fantastic little café/patisserie in a fascinating building. Open for takeaway service even during the pandemic quarantine. Not cheap, but very special. Recommended.
