I usually go on Saturday afternoon when it's slower. They usually have football (soccer) games on. The steak and mushroom pie is wonderful. I love to sit here and watch the footie with a pint or two. They get big and noisy crowds for big matches, and it feels great.

we love hanging out for weekend lunch. the chicken curry is gluten free!
Best tap list in town. A little heavy on the Belgian beers but good selection of others.

Music was incredibly loud and when asked to turn it down a little, was told, "People paid for it." Unlike my lunch, I suppose? Service needs work.
