- Travel + LeisureApril 8, 2013Young chef Austin Hu showcases standout dishes—such as duck breast with apple and chorizo-flecked vinaigrette and candied pork belly with kimchi jus—in a loftlike restaurant in the Xuhui district.
- Brunch is served at 11:00, when they open on weekends, so yummy. Chef Austin Hu is amazing and truly loves what he does and it shows through the amazing dishes that is offered here.
- Paul FarrellApril 4, 2015Amazing brunch and dinner is great too. Good service and Austin Hu is a really talented chef. A really decent guy as well and it shows in the staff.
- Nathan AckleyJanuary 12, 2014The kimchi pork sandwich is probably one of the best sandwiches I've ever had the pleasure of devouring! So good! I highly recommend coming here just for the sandwich. It changed my life!
- Brunch is a must but book in advance. Fresh donuts come out warm with trio of dipping sauces. Order a few dishes to share & get a taste of everything because it's all so good!
- Time Out ShanghaiNovember 13, 2012Be prepared for a fat-filled, unforgiving brunch, albeit an intense guilty pleasure. Try the French-style scrambled eggs with the rum-laced Madison lemonade. Finish off with an outstanding croissant. Read more
- Kingston HApril 30, 2013Onion soup's thicker texture, less sweetness, and choice of low melting temp and less gooey cheese creates a unique experience versus onion soups at other restaurants. It's a good thing.
- Benedetta AnghileriJune 26, 2015They have just one hamburger in their menu but just for that it's worth a visit :) saffron aioli wins
- Lane RettigMarch 10, 2013Shrimp burger is amazing. French style scrambled eggs also very tasty. New York style brunch in shanghai!
- Jacqueline GuFebruary 22, 2014Ideal sunday bruch spot with focus on egg-made cuisine and some burgers and chips. Many foreigners here at weekend.
- Sam RubinMarch 20, 2011Sunday dinners are casual, comfort food dinners. Every week a different theme. We went for a "steak night" and it was great. 300 RMB, all you can eat :)
- Chef Austin rocks! The food is scrumptious, the environment is comforting and drinks are spot on.
- John BoothJuly 13, 2015Great food, especially in the less formal dining room, grab a few sharing plates and enjoy.
- GregWasThereJanuary 11, 2014The shrimps with fried rice starter was surprisingly nice. Fish main courses are a better value for money
- Brunch on sunday is both affordable and delicious, the former esp compared to neighboring brunch spots. Mmm and peanut butter and baileys ice cream for dessert!
- emkeyJanuary 28, 2013Food is good, portions are small but this way you can try more. One big drawback (for me) is they do not free refill the coffee, which is unusual for an *american* place. Service is so-so
- Kingston HApril 30, 2013Bone marrow crostini is worth a try. Not a common offering at other restaurants. Tasty too!
- David HenriquesSeptember 24, 2011Porche eggs and shrimp burger are a must on the Sunday brunch. Really need to go there for dinner.
- Selina SAugust 20, 2011The peanut butter and jelly sundae is bomb! Peanut butter mousse with raspberry ice cream, yum!
- Ashton LeeApril 25, 2011One of the best brunches I've had. In Shanghai. Or any other city. Hat's off to Chef Austin.
- Gary CookOctober 29, 2011Not as good as it used to be. Slabs of pig trotters in the poached eggs, duck eggs an unexpected bright orange with a bit too much breading/grease, refried potato pancakes refried a little too long.
- Skillet corn bread is a good choice for hungry people.
- Angela SC NgApril 10, 2011Nice ambience and not the conventional food. Fav: Scotched duck eggs and shrimp burger!
- Nicha ArkApril 17, 2011Our today's specials are tomato soup and pork&garlic sausages with special mustard sauce. Yummy!
- BLT! They roast the tomato. It is the road less taken. It makes all the difference.
- Even though they open at 11 on weekends, brunch isn't served until noon (until 3)
