Need a reason to Visit Mammoth? I have a list of 10 things to do or see while visiting Mammoth Lakes. Just be aware, you may not be able to get it all done if you are only staying for a couple days!
Quart K: Two of the 5 major lakes comprising the name "Mammoth Lakes." View the falls, go fishing, rent a boat and if you feel adventurous, rent a paddle board! Footloose have them available.
Quart K: This rare sight has lots of water inlets but no outlets. When water evaporates but leaves its salts behind, you have the natural forming Tufas. This is also a bird sanctuary.
Quart K: This mining town now turned ghost town is recognized for its extreme winters. Sitting at 8400 feet and a population of up to 10,000 people, it sits higher and had more people than Mammoth Lakes
Quart K: Rock climbing enthusiast find themselves attracted to this land of natural rock formations leading to great climbing areas. World renown climbers have been know to scale these features.
Quart K: This is the name of just one amazing trail in the bike park. Offering a multitude of features for all skill levels and races running all summer long you would be amiss to not check this out.
Quart K: Mammoth Lakes is known for many things but the reason we have such a great mountain is due to our volcano and earthquakes. If you dare, you can see the formations when you are on walking a fault line.
Quart K: The lake area offers everything from hiking, boat rentals, fishing and swimming. The resort offers some of the best food in the area and can cater to your wedding needs!
Quart K: One of many natural hot springs located in the area, this is a "must do" if you have never had the chance to be in a tub fed by our natural hot springs. I may suggest Wild Willy's tub too.
