Marcy Juran: Absolutely amazing menu - the Montauk Lobster Salad is not to be missed. The patio is wonderful - one of the few restaurants in town where you can actually see the water. Great wine list as well.
Marcy Juran: A feast for the eyes - an incredible transformation of a vacant auto dealership, now reborn as one of the most beautiful spots in Westport. Don't miss sitting in the garden cafe next to the ferns!
Marcy Juran: Salt air only a few miles from my home - my version of heaven. Jingles, shooting sunsets, celebrating the fireworks for the Fourth of July - the best town party with 10,000 of your closest friends.
Marcy Juran: Best place in town to hear music on a Friday night, especially when Lissy is in the house. The mac and cheese = perfect comfort food, & I love the fact that so much of the food is from local farms.
Marcy Juran: Sal Gilbertie is a local treasure, and the gardeners in town are so lucky to have Gilbertie's in our midst. Don't miss the African Blue Basil, the scented geraniums, or the incredible Lemon tree.
Marcy Juran: Summer market in the commuter lot on Imperial - Thursdays from 10-2. Great food from farmers, bakers, cheesemakers...and grab lunch while you're at it. To quote: REAL FOOD. REAL FARMERS. LIVE LOCAL.
Marcy Juran: The new kid on the block. Have to love those gas lamps out front, and the beautiful interior. The black truffle burger is one of the best burgers around. A nice addition to downtown.
Marcy Juran: Hands down best place in Fairfield County for art supplies. Nina, Shirley & the rest of the crew offer advice and support, & Jay's framing is an art form in itself, + there's great art in the windows.
Marcy Juran: OK, actually Norwalk, but worth the drive. "Best bread on the East Coast" (Roadfood's Michael Stern). The croissants trump all the competition's, love the gibassier, and the cafe menu at lunch is yum.
