Mark B: Beautiful National Cemetery overlooking San Diego Harbor and the Pacific Ocean on the West side. Completely full with veterans now being interred at Miramar National Cemetery.
Mark B: Great rehab facility. Fantastic staff that really care about their patients. They handle all levels of rehab from acute post-op to outpatient. Lots of equipment to utilize for speedy recovery.

Mark B: Plenty of options from pizza to burgers. Food is good. Pizza crust a little doughy for a brick oven place. Otherwise food is good. Good stop for meal before movies at Santikos Embassy.
Mark B: Awesome interactive museum! Very cool and immersive. Must see in Santa Fe. Could spend hours exploring. All kinds of art mediums used in a fantasy surreal layout that has an underlying storyline.
Mark B: Good restaurant in Roswell. After long day on the road nice to have some decent food with good service. A mixture of Tex-Mex and burgers/sandwiches.

Mark B: 1st viewpoint entering from East. Cool watchtower that has great views. Make sure to walk all the way to the top as there is artwork and displays throughout.

Mark B: Lots to do in this park besides look into the canyon or take the trail down. Plenty of trails up top with lots of wildlife. Plenty of amenities.
Mark B: Old trading post on historic Route 66 just outside Winslow, Az. Looks like it too. Lots of souvenir items like any trading post along 40. Right off the freeway.
Mark B: No frills park that has great scenery with the Painted Desert and petrified wood. Make sure to hit the visitors center to see some examples of polished wood. One road goes from top to bottom of park.
Mark B: As always, Hyatt provides nice rooms. Breakfast is good with a Southwest twist you don't get at other Hyatts: Tortillas, salsa, crema, corn relish, and bottles of Chalula :)
Mark B: Very nice hotel. Great lobby and rooms are very comfortable. Nicely decorated and clean. A little pricey but worth it due to location just outside Grand Canyon. The steakhouse is good as well.
Mark B: Good food and service. Great place to stop after long hike in the Narrows. Take time to cool off, rehydrate and get some food. Next to the Shuttle stop and before you go into the park.

Mark B: Beautiful hike. Go at your own pace as this is a long hike if you plan to go the whole way. Plus go early before heat gets up there and crowds build for shuttle. Can take up to hour wait for bus.
Mark B: Beautiful park. If going to Narrows, make sure to wear good water shoes and carry a walking stick. You can rent shoes, socks and stick for $25 in town. Also have them at a shop at the entrance
Mark B: Older motel/lodge but in good condition. Rooms are nice. Hard to find rooms for 5 but they have a 3 bedroom apt style room with 2 baths, kitchen and living room. Shuttle stop just out front. Good deal
