- Love this place! The oysters are great, the burger is maybe the best in NYC, and the apps and drinks are always on point. The best neighborhood joint you could hope for.
- Love this place but prices are going up and portion sizes/quality is going down with its popularity. I get the omelette with smoked salmon, sautéed onions and mushrooms with fries on the side.
- Steve SpillmanNovember 17, 2012Hell. Yes. What a pleasant surprise. This place is the real deal. Everything is great, but if you can't decide, get the fried quail. You'll love it. Oh man.
- winJanuary 6, 2015Came here for desserts and prosecco, a chocolate mousse pot (my friend loved it more than me) and an apple turnover cake with Mexican ice cream (I loved it) great ambience, and will be back for dinner
- Jemima DouyonApril 21, 2017This is probably the best meal I've ever had. The watermelon tuna was absolutely amazing, the steak tartar was also great! I'm still drooling over the palenta!!! Great place! Highly recommended!
- Damian BayonaApril 25, 2016Great burger. High quality meat and cheese, cooked perfectly (medium rare) and served with a delicious spicy mayo. Wash it down with a cold Bikini Blonde Lager to complete the experience.
- Stephen PetreyApril 9, 2018The Atlantic Benedict is to die for! Items are a little pricey but sooooooo delicious 🤤
- Angela WenAugust 19, 2018Beautiful and cozy space with a cute small backyard. Food is delicious. Clam linguine was fantastic as was the BLT. Great cocktails and drinks. Lots of seating.
- I know every joint does a kale salad these days, but Mayfield's is done really well. also, both the pork chop on ribs and the octopus on pork belly are truly amazing and melt in your mouth.
- Kappie FarringtonAugust 30, 2015Went here for brunch and the food was excellent (omg the home fries), but the vibe was unexpectedly bro-y. The outdoor garden is lovely but small. There was a TV at the bar with soccer on.
- Where to begin?Kale salad, roasted brussels sprouts, blackfish ceviche, fish and chips. Succinct menu, sensible wine list, & amazing touch with sauces/dressings. So happy to have mayfield in the hood!
- Marcela ErazoFebruary 21, 2016Great brunch, get the spoon bread. The kale salad is perfect, and the cauliflower custard thing is out of this world
- $1 oyster happy hour 5-6:30 every day. Pair them with $3 Labatt Blues.
- in love with this new addition to the neighborhood. warm atmosphere, wonderful staff, delicious food and drink. the pastas, butternut squash salad, and ny old fashioned are standouts.
- They did a really great job with this place, awesome addition to the neighborhood! Everything we tried was great and the decor/atmosphere was really nice too. Would highly recommend the pork chop!
- Thomas ReintjesSeptember 1, 2019Trout is good and surprisingly comes without bones. Wish it came with a side veg in addition to the potatoes.
- Mike NickersonNovember 15, 2016Fantastic menu items on the new American-Italian spectrum. Elegantly prepared and just delicious. I loved the cacio e pepe and the brussels
- Sandro LipariJanuary 24, 2016If you're walking distance, driving distance or even plane distance, that's where you wanna be for brunch. Absolutely the best French toast ever and super tasty bloody mary's.
- Erin AlderetteJanuary 26, 2013One of my new Heights favorites. Kale salad is light, refreshing, delicious. Octopus w/pork belly also amazing. But brussels sprouts were soggy and the mustard was overpowering.
- The burgers are ridiculous. So good! And the fries are too die for. Oh and be sure to check this place out during happy hour for $4 drafts!
- Dan DoronJuly 2, 2013Kale salad is flavorful and a texture delight. Excellent press coffee. Sea scallops rock, best fish and chips I've had, pappardelle and trout are solid choices.
- Raphael LangenscheidtOctober 3, 2015Good brunch. The French toast is insane, but the poached eggs weren't quite as delicious as a 9.3 rating promises. Still - I'd come back. Come before noon on weekends to avoid the worst of the rush.
- Great place for $1 oysters! Highly recommend the sandwiches - po’boy, fried chicken, and burger. Also the brussel sprouts and fries!
- The CommanderJune 22, 2015The fried egg on the dandelion salad is absolute perfection! Plus $1 oysters and draft beers for happy hour...the best!
- Been here about 10 times now and continues to exceed expectations. Food, drinks, service, and decor are all top-notch. Get here by 6 or you're gonna wait!
- J StandeferFebruary 29, 2016Burger is super legit, as is generous-portioned, not-too- sweet, brownie sundae
- As good as (or better than) a meal you'd pay twice as much for in Manhattan, and without the fuss and attitude that often goes along with such meals. Do not skip the steak tartare.
- MbaliOctober 25, 2014Brunch is scrumptious! Their grits are very well seasoned (hold the scary bug-eyed shrimp next time) and the french toast is delish
- Gabriel HayesAugust 8, 2014Spoon bread is delicious. Loved the ricotta gnocchi, buttermilk fried quail, hand rolled tagliatelle and the lamb chili.
- I had the shrimp & grits with scrambled eggs, collard greens and mint tea for Saturday brunch. Absolutely delicious. I will be back!
- Natalie Cotto CastroAugust 31, 2014Shrimp ceviche, scallops and amazing pork chops. Affordable wine list, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Probably best in crown.
- Paul FilippettiOctober 20, 2019Great find! The beef tartare was the best I have ever had. Kale salad a good choice as well.
- Sam GilAugust 6, 2017Awesome chill vibe out the back. Fried quail and cavatelli both very good but need to come back.
- LaurenMay 26, 2014I dream about the chicken liver mousse. And while I would typically never order a sandwich for dinner, the Cubano is a must eat!
- Serious EatsApril 3, 2013A friendly, American-inspired spot that's the best all-around restaurant and bar in Crown Heights.
- Leigh Anne ZinsmeisterAugust 9, 2014The corned beef hash is delicious and reasonably priced for a weekend brunch!
- If you're looking for great ambience and delicious American food go to Mayfield.
- It says on here it doesn’t take reservations but it does. Parties under 6 people you can book via Resy, over 6 you have to email with credit card info.
- EllieMarch 14, 2014Excellent! Food was great, nice atmosphere, good service! Had the Whole Roasted Eden Brook Trout and it was amazing!

- Tanya RojasDecember 25, 2014Fish and chips are by far the best I've had in NYC. Kale salad was also excellent.
- Freda MoonOctober 9, 2013Really fresh $1 oysters at happy hour, and not the usual Blue Points for once. House wine ($6 at HH) was tasty too.
