- Kelsey✨November 21, 2018Basic brunch fare in a cozy space. It gets packed so arrive early if you want to snag a table
- CamilleOctober 2, 2014Loved the kale salad, Brussel sprouts, and scallops! Fish and chips was doughy, not cooked all the way through.
- Eli FranceOctober 24, 2015I love it I think it has great food for a cheap price and a very friendly wait staff
- Cole KennedyJuly 30, 2015The oysters aren't any better than other places, but if you come for happy hour, they're super worthwhile.
- inna katsFebruary 6, 2015The food, the drinks, the setting, textures and flavor profiles.. Everything is SO DAMN GOOD
- Hope Greg is your bartender. He is awesome! The Bennet cocktail is delicious and don't leave without trying the grilled octopus.
- Super yummy brunch but small coffee portion (personal French Press) leaves me wanting more -- wish it were 50% bigger.
- Nichelle StephensDecember 7, 2012The food is delicious! The service is great! Order the beets, the fried clams and save room for dessert.
- Alison ZackMarch 22, 2013Everything we tried was delicious. Be sure to try the octopus with pork belly appetizer.
- John ColglazierNovember 3, 2018The buttermilk fried quail was really great. Had a good hard cider on tap.
- Tanya RojasDecember 25, 2014Fish and chips are by far the best I've had in NYC. Kale salad was also excellent.
- Kira SnyderJune 15, 2013The building above the patio is currently under construction, which is pretty loud. But everything else is amazing!
- Micah SpielerJanuary 21, 2013Definitely recommend this place. Order small plates to share, that way you can try more dishes.
- Wilson ZhouApril 28, 2014Mayfield is named for Curtis, which could account for why the food has been described as “soul-food influenced.” In fact, the only dish that qualifies is the buttermilk-fried quail.
- Mikahla VicinoDecember 1, 2019The eggs benedict was delicious, and I loved how crispy the potatoes were.
- Say hi to Greg the bartender and enjoy a delicious pot de creme dessert after your meal.
- The Chicken Liver Mousse is unreal. Order an extra plate of toast, trust me.
- Charlie O'DonnellMarch 15, 2013This place was excellent...very tasty, unique dishes, warm and inviting interior.
- MyerJuly 21, 2015There was a mountain of soggy chips and a smidgen of fish in an undercooked batter. It was greasy as hell, but not as greasy as the Cuban sandwich whose bread oozed oil as you picked it up. Oysters OK
- Jonah EatonJuly 19, 2015Uh wow, chicken liver mousse is absurdly rich and delicious. Buttermilk fries quail is a nice take on a southern classic. The bread pudding was to die for. It had Rum Carmel sauce. Nuff said
- All the single ladies drinking wine and reading the New Yorker at the bar on a Monday night.
- Alyssa HerreraJune 8, 2013Delicious food!!!! Not really vegetarian friendly but salads were amazing!
- The pork chop is simply fantastic; I get it every time I go.
- Get The Lord Byron if you like Negronis. It is Yum City.
- Shrimp ceviche is a standard for me. Wonderfully diverse wine list. #win
- Heirloom tomatoes. Both ceviches. Burger. Scallops. PORK CHOP.
- Francesco CellarosiJanuary 19, 2014Fried clam bellies aren't bellies. They are huge whole clams with heavy breading. Kinda disappointing.
- Happy hour after midnight on Fridays and Saturdays! $3 Labatts, $4 drafts, $5 well drinks. Great last stop before heading home.
