- One of the great indie bookstores of New York. They have a coffee shop in one corner of the corner that's a perfect place to start reading the new book you just bought.
- Support a local book seller and shop here! They have a load of books (obviously, make sure to make it downstairs), but also a great selection of mags and greeting cards for that last-minute purchase.
- This is probably the most positively endorsed place on foursquare (with regard to tips). People like it - and why not? It's a nice coffee shop/bookstore.
- Superb selection at this classic independent bookstore, complete with a cafe and that unique smell of coffee, old bookshelves, and new books.

- Madeline McDavidJanuary 7, 2016Fantastic selection of books a cross a wide range of disciplines. Fiction is sorted by geographic origin (e.g. Russia, South America, etc) which is pretty cool.
- Charming bookstore! Big selection and you can grab a coffee in the cafe. Not a lot of seating.
- Stumptown coffee is always welcome but you're missing out if you don't sample the always delicious cookies. Try the salted peanut butter, you'll thank me later.
