MEI-JIN beef ramen is good but a bit sweet for my taste. Spicy Pork is very flavourful and the pork itself has a strong garlic taste. Prepare to sweat. Japanese fried chicken is a must!

Chef Miyamoto dedicates an entire section of his menu to beef ramen. Order a plain one seasoned with soy ($10), or with chile oil ($11), but the best is the namesake ramen muddled with miso ($13). Read more

Favorite new ramen spot on the UES. Friendly staff and great selection of apps, ramen and desserts. Recommend spicy beef ramen...just right if you like it hot! Must try the creme brûlée!

Lunch combination of ramen & mini donburi (rice bowl) for $10 pretax is a good value. 5 options for ramen and 5 for donburi. Pictured are spicy chili beef ramen with original curry donburi.

Beef bones simmer for hours creating a rich & slightly gelatinous stock. It's offered with soy, spicy chile,& miso. Beef, bean sprouts, corn, arugula, bamboo, green onion,& garlic chips add freshness.

While their house specialty is beef ramen, the other types are pretty great too. Probably the best ramen in the UES, whether you eat it there or get it delivered. Check out the seasonal specials.

Amazing ramen ... among the best west of Tokyo i ever had. Tried the tonkotsu, which were really tasty. Spicy edamame as starter was nice too. Large portions and nice atmosphere

Awesome spot. Esp for the upper east side! Ramen to the right. Desserts and drinks to the left. If you ask for anything more ur just plain greedy.

The small plates, such as the Nagoya Pepper Wings and Popcorn Calamari, seem better than the ramen here.

Great fast and friendly service. Try the tuna tartare as a light starter before a big bowl of their flavour-packed ramen.

Good ramen, but keep in mind they are beef based broths (not pork)! Fried Chicken appetizer is excellent to share!

Spicy pork ramen should be your first choice on the list. The beef on the washu ramen is a tad chewy, making the dish hard to eat.
