Melissa Zayas: A great place to get an amazing breakfast. My favorite dish is the mouthwatering...makes me drool Trail Blazer. I would never have thought to put eggs with crab cakes.

Melissa Zayas: A local pub in a historic building from 1759. Garvin is the most friendly gracious host. The atmosphere and food are fantastic! Be sure to make reservations.

Melissa Zayas: This is a great place to walk, jog, bike or rollerblade. It has beautiful scenery! Whether I am in the mood for a 1/2 mile walk or 3 miles I can do it at the walkway.

Melissa Zayas: What can I say I love Minnewaska! No matter my mood I can go here and get recharged and feel better. I enjoy seeing the waterfall, lake, endless trails and stunning views.

Melissa Zayas: I love going here to go rappelling and rock climbing. The views are incredible! I also enjoy the views on the hiking trails. The nature center always has something interesting to learn when visiting.

Melissa Zayas: One of my favorite foods is a yummy hot pretzels with delicious cheese or mustard sauce. This is a great place to go eat after a day of hiking at Minnewaska or Mohonk. Be sure to make reservations.

Melissa Zayas: When visiting here it feels just like you are walking through Eleanor's home as if she just stepped out of the house for a few minutes. A beautiful piece of our local history.

Melissa Zayas: I have visited the Vanderbilt many times and will do so many more. The house and gardens are beautiful! The house and grounds are a must see during each season.

Melissa Zayas: As I visited the home of Franklin D. Roosevelt I can't help to imagine what it was like when he lived there. I walked down a hallway where he had been. An interesting piece of our history.

Melissa Zayas: If you like whiskey you must visit here. I loved the chocolate and raspberry together... mmmm yummy. I enjoyed sitting on the patio by the mill having lunch.

Melissa Zayas: I enjoyed visiting here. It's so neat that we have an orchard locally that makes a product that is so popular. I love the Angry Orchard Rose. Watch their website for special events.

Melissa Zayas: On a warm night I enjoy sitting on their patio and having their food truck tacos and for dessert their pretzel bread pudding with bourbon caramel sauce. I'm drooling while typing this...yum.

Melissa Zayas: Huckleberry's has been a fun place for a late night get together with friends. From a relaxing upstairs that offers board games and a patio outside to sit and chat with friends around the fire pits.

Melissa Zayas: Each year my son and I enjoy seeing the sky divers. I have yet to get brave enough to do it myself...lol but I think its a cool adventure for those who do it.

Melissa Zayas: I am sucker for playing all of the games and enjoy seeing the many different vendors. My kids love going on the rides and seeing all of the animals from the Four H program.

Melissa Zayas: This is a beautiful place to see and a neat piece of our local history. Everyone I know who has gotten married stops and takes photos here.

Melissa Zayas: We enjoyed visiting and seeing the homes of the first settlers of New Paltz. There is even an old cemetery and church.

Melissa Zayas: When ever I need a gift for someone I visit here first. I almost always find a unique gift. I usually leave with something for myself or the kids too. I love the items they have made by local artist.

Melissa Zayas: A seasonal favorite. I get all of my plants and flowers here as well as our fruits and veggies. While I am there we usually get some baked goods or ice cream.

Melissa Zayas: The wine trail has many great wineries to try. My favorite is the Brotherhood winery. Check out Hampton Inn, New Paltz for a wine trail package. Don't forget the fun Wreath Fineries at the wineries.

Melissa Zayas: We had a great time seeing the fall leaves in such a unique way. We can't wait to do it again this year. Be sure to reserve a time in advance as they are extremely busy.

Melissa Zayas: Suny New Paltz is more than just a school. We enjoy visiting the Samuel Dorsky Art Museum and going to the planetarium shows.

Melissa Zayas: With horse lovers in our family...what can I say we love visiting here. We get to see beautiful horses and an amazing show each time.

Melissa Zayas: This haunted house and hayride do an amazing job! I laughed so hard as my daughter and her friend held onto me for dear life and screamed all the way through the whole thing. 

Melissa Zayas: I love the mouthwatering hot dogs from the Kosiner Brother's Hot dog cart. The many different shops are always fun to see what they have. Lets not forget the great artist at the chalk festival.

Melissa Zayas: We have rented bikes from here when we have company in town and we go bike riding on the trails. Call in advance and plan your rental as they go fast.

Melissa Zayas: We celebrated my boyfriends birthday on the DJ River cruise and had a blast. My youngest son enjoyed his first boat ride here on the river. I suggest buying your tickets online in advance.

Melissa Zayas: A unique place to visit and see the world's largest kaleidoscope. We discovered lying down on the floor gives you the best show.

Melissa Zayas: A great place to go if you are new to rock climbing or rappelling. They have lessons and equipment to help you discover our next new adventure.

Melissa Zayas: One of our families favorite spots to get together for a little fun. We all love ice cream and mini golf definitely offers time together and many laughs.

Melissa Zayas: Summer, sun, and swimming :). We pack lunch, call friends and take the kids swimming. Go early to get a spot as it can get full and busy here.

Melissa Zayas: I don't know a person in the Hudson Valley that does not say yum to Krause's chocolate. Our favorite is their fudge.

Melissa Zayas: There are so many amazing views to see hiking on the trails. Including the bridge in the movie a Quiet Place.

Melissa Zayas: We love going down the river. It's always an adventure. Warning the water is cold even in the summer as it is fresh mountain water but you do adjust to it after a bit of time.

Melissa Zayas: In the fall we love picking apples and the kids enjoy the many activities to do here.

Melissa Zayas: We go here for the fair, concerts, and home shows. Our kids love the fair each year.

Melissa Zayas: We love going to this event and tasting all of the different foods. Lets not forget about the unique and amazing different beverages. My favorite this past year was Free fall Sangria.

Melissa Zayas: Opus 40 is a beautiful sculpture park. I always saw pictures of this and finally went for a visit. It is a neat place. Bring a picnic blanket,  pack a lunch, relax as you take in the views.

Melissa Zayas: Every year we go to the NY International Air Show and we always have a great time. It awesome watching the incredible stunts done by talented pilots.

Melissa Zayas: When my dad visits we always go and play golf here. I go just to spend time with him and enjoy the scenery. P.S...I enjoy it but I am not good at golf.

Melissa Zayas: I enjoy going here with friends, playing a game of pool and having my favorite dish...Ludwig pizza. They often have a local band playing.

Melissa Zayas: Each year we take a hike up to the Sky Top Tower. The views of the valley here are stunning. I love taking the time to stop and see the amazing place in which I live.

Melissa Zayas: One of the great things about growing up here in the Hudson Valley is the local swimming holes. Split Rock is beautiful, the water is cold. It is fresh mountain water. Perfect for a hot summer day.

Melissa Zayas: A neat part of our local history and right next to it is a little park where we go fishing. Regarding the fish we catch we have good days and bads days. It is always a relaxing time with the family.

Melissa Zayas: Dedrick's is our go to pharmacy as they always have a helpful answer. Not to mention that I find unique gifts here.

Melissa Zayas: It's always interesting shopping here. I always see unique things and often a good laugh at some of the things they have. There is a gift for everyone to be found in here.

Melissa Zayas: The best local place for fresh italian food. I love that they make their own pasta. My son likes watching them make it.

Melissa Zayas: A shoe store that is different from what you find in the malls. I always find good quality, comfortable shoes, at reasonable prices.

Melissa Zayas: What can I say I am a typical girl and love shopping. This place has great jewelry pieces. I love their glass witching balls.

Melissa Zayas: If you love cheese as much as I do than you must visit here. I like the Big Apple sandwich.

Melissa Zayas: We enjoy sitting on the patio and having their Chicken Waldorf salad and their peanut noodles.

Melissa Zayas: A great new addition to our area. We are excited to use the new trails this year.

Melissa Zayas: Our kids love going on the Polar Express. The train offers different theme train rides throughout the year. Plan ahead as they do sell out.

Melissa Zayas: A place to go hiking and see a part of local history is Widow Jane Mine. They do many different events here. I enjoy the sound of the drums in the old mines.

Melissa Zayas: We like to pick up lunch and visit the Lighthouse park. After lunch there's hiking trails that will give you a nice work out while seeing great river views.

Melissa Zayas: A beautiful place to see unique art in a natural space. It is a lot of walking but you can do it at your own pace.

Melissa Zayas: I am always worn out after a day of shopping here but I always find great deals.

Melissa Zayas: It's always fun to go on the hayride and go through the corn maze. We always get some apple cider donuts while we are here.

Melissa Zayas: My son loves going here. The Renegades does a great job at having the kids be part of the game. We camped out on the baseball field after a game for boy scouts.

Melissa Zayas: Nice nature trails with beautiful views of the river. My kids love geocaching and we are always discovering new places.

Melissa Zayas: In visiting the wineries in our area this definitely felt like an authentic winery. The other wineries have good wine but you are just visiting the tasting rooms. I enjoyed the tour into the cellars.

Melissa Zayas: We have taken the boat out, we have kayaked out and then hiked to the ruins. Both times was a great experience. They often do movies or dinners to raise money to help protect this beautiful place.

Melissa Zayas: The owner is always helpful when I am shopping for something different. Plan ahead and visit one of their tastings.

Melissa Zayas: This place is so good. I had the 388 Main St dish...yum! You can not get in without reservations so call in advance and make one.

Melissa Zayas: A great hike to see the river running through Rosendale and the old mines.

Melissa Zayas: Delicious farm to table food. I always look forward to seeing what special they have.

Melissa Zayas: I like that for lunch I can get half a sandwich and a cup of soup...perfect. It gets busy here for dinner so expect to wait a bit before you are seated.

Melissa Zayas: We use Pasquale's alot to cater events at work and they always do a great job.
